Really, really infuriate me with how sh*tty they are. Especially given how much I pay for internet service.

lol Thuellai, more like craptastic..
I have Comcast as well and it sucks, I can't connect to Xboxlive and although I have a wireless router and wireless laptop, I can only get internet connectivity if I have it plugged in via Ethernet cord.

Yeah, I know. That's why "Comcastic" is an internet synonym for "terrible"

I used to have that problem. Turned out my router had to be tweaked to play nice with comcast. No other options, Comcast has some shady deal where no one else can use their cabling into the condo complex where I live. My three year old smart phone can load their DNS Status page thankfully.... proving my trouble shooting to the gateway as valid. Not that anyone at Comcast can help me with any sort of ETR.

So... does this mean I'm not the only one who had hours of trouble with Comcast last night?

Anyone on the Detroit or Chicago Comcast DNS Clusters was out cold.
