Chris! I am really digging your Marvel to DC conversions..
I assume by you posting them you won't mind a critique about The Black Canary..
I like the Actions you have given her..Right on the money as far as I am concerned.. The only points I would differ with you on are her Intelligence score. A stone too high perhaps? Is she that much smarter then Captain America?..(Course the real problem is Cap's INT score is too low..but that is another bag of worms) Dinah's CC is a little too high..maybe by a stone..She is a formidible Martial artist but she is not a top 5 fighter or even top 10 fighter.. Look at how easy Shiva has handled her.. Shiva is the best H-T-H fighter in the DCU and Dinah hasn't a hope in hell beating her in a fair fight.. but other martial artists have lasted a lot longer against Shiva..Catwoman, The Huntress, Katana..
just my 2 cents on stuff that is hard to quantify..and I like my donuts with no jam..so what do I know? *shrug*..
I really love what you are doing with your write-ups and maybe when I have the time I'll take a stab at a few..
keep up the great work!

Write-ups need constructive criticism otherwise they become inaccurate buckets of slop!
Evan Jones did a Q&A session on the Yahoo group (you have to read the messages from #1 onwards under his name and all the re: replies - it's worth it). At first I was opposed to Cap’s low Intelligence too – but Evan does make a good point. He states something to the effect that Marvel sees Cap as a normal guy in the brain department. The key to statting a character is all in how that character is perceived – and that perception changes depending on what the current writers are doing with that character. Also Intelligence should not be confused with common sense, wits or wisdom. A character can have low INT and still be incredibly switched on. See the Q&A 's.
I'll change her INT to a 3 to reflect her depth of logical thinking and detective background - she also started her own business (Florist) so this warrents and above-average INT.
True.

Do so!

I like the to and fro dissussion when talking about character write-ups..this is cool..
I guess Cap's "average" INT rank is balanced by his high Action score's..Though I am a little dodgey with Cap's write-up.. You know they didn't link his acrobatics to his agility. I asked Evan Jones about that and he said it should have been done..
While I like the game there are a couple of issues in regards to certain write-ups that made me say "huh"? ie: Cap having a lower leadership then Cyclops and Dr. Strange's ridiculously high martial arts action..
This benchmark chart of yours..is...of course...great!!! I will be using it as a template for my write-ups.. Just gotta find a copy of the CAD template you are using and I am off to the races..
I am curious are you still playing M&M?

CAD? you mean the template for my write-ups? I'll mail it to you - its a word document that I convert to PDF.
Still playing M&M - of course! Next step is to convert Marvel to M&M lol.
I'm actually working on a few ideas for Superlink products and as soon as I find a pro designer I'm going to see about releasing them on the net.
