It's been years since I dusted off my V&V books. I remember it as being overly fussy, and a calculator being needed, but I liked it for it's feel, and the artwork. A game I definitely didn't play enough.
I'll dig out the books (they are buried right now in amongst boxes and boxes of rpgs) and see how you did with mammoth.
