In the Ultimate X-men, Collossus is much more powerful than in the original marvel universe, capable of stopping an oncoming train and beating up both Thor and Iron Man.
In order to represent this increase of powers, I recommend that the Ultimate Collossus 's profile be adjusted.
In steel form, alter his Strength to 10 (this would allow him to stop a speeding train, I think). Also, boost his Toughness to +9.
Quote: "Nothing can hurt me when I am in organic steel form, not even this guy."

well just remember, in the ultimates universe, iron man is much weaker than in the normal one, and thor is a hippie.

yeah but its a good thing that they made collusus better cause he really is good. i mean hes solid steal he should be able to stop a train. he also broke through magneto's control and punched him right in the gut.

well just remember, in the ultimates universe, iron man is much weaker than in the normal one, Well his is still using a pretty early model in the UU so that could eventually change. There was a time when the original MU’s Stark was proud to have such high tech equipment as a transistor radio. …Magneto eats people; Hulk eats people; Wasp is a mutant; Juggernaut is a mutant; Wolverine is a coward; Professor X is a hypocrite; Captain America is a short-tempered, conservative badass (three things I don’t consider the old Cap to be); Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver…I don’t wanna talk about it. yes there are a lot of differences between the universes but it doesn’t change the fact that Ultimate Colossus is capable of doing stuff I doubt the original could.

Yeah say what you guys will the ultimate universe is different. They are not giving them golden and silver age solution to problem. such as just hapening to know that villan a has a flux crumpositer and it is a good thing I brought this flux crumpresser to stop it. Now if they go up a army in some crazy country they have a army with them fighting against the other army.
Collossus rocks because he isn't a gentle giant that is afraid to hit somebody hard. I did really like the way they called in back up while he was smacking Thor up. That was priceless.

I've read all the Ultimat X-men and I don't remember Magnus eating anyone..? He may have though. Hulk eats people (from time to time), Wasp has always been "technically" mutant (mutagenic), Juggs... Never really said if he was a mutant or if the crystal is in him. I disagree with the Wolvie thesis, he's "more" human (just cause he wants to always fight with his claws doesn't make him a coward = it makes him an unfair combatant) - but whatever. It's about time they made X a hoss, and i've always seen Cap as a down home, conservative, red blooded American. He sure isn't liberal! SS and QuickSilver..? Have you read the latest TPB of the U.X-Men with the Fenris twins = thats obviously frightening. But yeah - there are things that have been changed in the Ultimate universe. I personally feel it's for the better. Marvel must as well - they still make them and they are making more "ultimate" genres...

The best thing about the Ultimate series is that it has breathed new life into some charcters who I thought were rather boring in the original marvel universe- i.e. Fenris Twins, Dazzler, John Wraith etc.

Thor is not as strong in the ultimate univurse as he is in the normal marvel Universe. the thing can KO the Hulk with one punch and Namor is the most powerful metahuman on earth. Theise are jsut some of the things that are a little different.
I myself was pretty happy with the thing power boost due to the fact that he is my favorite male Marvel character.

I've read all the Ultimate X-men and I don't remember Magnus eating anyone..? Early on when Cyclops briefly defects to Magneto, Magneto remarks that he's turned over a non-violent leaf saying "I'm not a cruel man, you understand. It's been years since I've even tasted flesh, human or otherwise". Later when delivering an ultimatum he declares that humans have 6 months, "During this time, we will prepare your new society and decide which of your races should be kept as slaves, which should be fuel, and which should be saved for our larder." The second quote suggests Magneto sees humans as edible cattle, and the first suggests that he used to eat them. -Stephen

Call me a purist but I'm not a big fan of the Ultimates as a whole. Now some things were a good change and made a bunch of the characters more, I don't know, hardcore But for me the old school is the only way to go

the main thing i liked about the ultimates is that the charcter groups were different than the old comics but i think they should have left sexuality alone. i have nuthin against gays but i think they should have calmed down with the whole gay thing (they already had northstar and some of the x-statix)
