Ive gathered some of the rules that have appeared during the long years ive spend here, and placed them (or atleast those i liked and could come up with by my self) into one big file. Ive also added all Cwylric's clarrifications and house rules. I cant remember where i got some of the rules, but as i wrote in the file, i just want to say thanks to Cwylric and all those people who came up with these rules... www.mediafire.com/?o59thina5v93reiAny suggestions and comments are welcome, and if you want to use some of the rules (but dont like some others), you are welcome to alter the text if you feel like it... ======================================= v1.02 Changed Stuff: * Added alternate costs for spider-man and venom. * Changed the Tail Action rules. * Added "increase area of effect" to Ablative Force Field (like normal force field). v1.1 Changed Stuff: * Added some clarification to Ablative Force Field regarding Armor penetration * Changed some things with magic * Added one more option to Force Field * fixed a error for Limited Area Effect (dont know why, but thought the cost for Area Effect was +5) v1.2 Changed Stuff: * rearranged some things with cost levels for modifiers (just so it looked better) * Fixed some Gramma Errors * Added and Additional Effect to the Ecstatic kiss option for Drain Energy * removed magic v1.5 Changed Stuff: * Added a front Page... WOOHOO!! * Added page numbers like in the official books * Changed the tail action * Added Imbuement Action * Added Burrowing Action * Added Immolation Modifier * Added Rage Modifier v1.6 Changed Stuff: * Changed the cost for Rage Changed Stuff v2.0 * Corrected a good deal of spelling errors * Added some more images * Made a Index page which looks like the orignal one from the books * Added some credits * Added alternate rules to Metamorphesis and added some options * Added rules for healing factors vs Diseases and poisons * Added Alternative rules for magic * Added Mystic Lore Action * Added a Arsenal Modifier * Added a "Incinerate" Option for Immolation * Added a Duration to the Ablative Force Field * Removed Ablative Force Fields "double AN" effect * Added a way to handle teleportation as and attack along with a option * Revised Blobs CAD * Revised Venoms CAD * Added Inventing Options * Changed some things in the Sidekick/Companion/Familiar Modifier * Made some big Changes to the throwing and lifting Rules * Made some changes to Imbuement (cost, duration, rules..) * Changed Entangles cost

Are all of Cwlyric's rules on there? This is getting stickied, and potentially destickying the original thread with Cwlyric's rules.

Well thank you scriptus... But please do let me know if you find anything wrong...
So yea, his rules are in there aswell.... But i cant help but feel we shouldent delete his thread... Im very grateful for the clarifications he got, and even though hes not an active member (i havent seen him active since then), i feel we should let it stay...
Another reason is, some people might not at all agree with some of the house rules (maybe allot of them or all), but still want the clarrifications, which they then could get from from Cwylric's file.
But as Good House Rules appear on the board, ill be updating the file...
NOTE FROM ME: One of the biggest problems im having with one of the house ruled modifiers, is Tail... When is balance used? Well more or less everytime acrobatics or wallcrawling is used (sometimes ninja and thieving)... Theres allready a topic for that, so if you, and i would really like to get some opinions on the rule.

Ive updated the file. Not sure what futher updates will hold, but one of them is a modifier im working on. But so far, lets see if theres any creative people out there who can make some good modifiers. v1.02 Changed Stuff: * Added alternate costs for spider-man and venom. * Changed the Tail Action rules. * Added "increase area of effect" to Ablative Force Field (like normal force field). And i just thought the thread would be deleted, but when i read back on it, you did say destickied

Ha, no way. One thing I learned through the four years of IB that I had to go through with is that plagiarism is punishable by death.

Just noticed a huge bummer i made with Area Effect... For some reason, i thought it was a +5 advantage, and therefore made Limited Area Effect a +4.... It was a +3 instead... AAAGH!!!... So i had to redo Limited Area Effect and made it to a +2 advantage
Also made some other changes.... Also, ive decided to trie and make a front page for the file, and if i can pull myself together, give it a more "MURPG"-stylish look...
v1.1 Changed Stuff: * Added some clarification to Ablative Force Field regarding Armor penetration * Changed some things with magic * Added one more option to Force Field * fixed a error for Limited Area Effect (dont know why, but thought the cost for Area Effect was +5)

I noticed a typo on page 4, under the Second Wind Rule.
I think it's missing a word or two, like "doubles" or "is doubled".
Also, the modifier name "Invulnerability" on the last page is missing its E.
Good job, though. Very handy. There are some other, less pressing things I found while looking it over, but f you're not interested in my grammar/organization nitpickings, disregard the rest.
Under Absorb/Reflect Energy on the same page, "Can't Reflect Energy" is listed without a cost. Even if it has no cost, maybe you could add "No additional cost" like you did with some of the other advantages/disadvantages. At this point I'm not sure if it's +0CL, or whether you forgot to add its cost without looking it up.
Something else I've noticed is that the syntax for many of these things (I'm in the new advantages/disadvantages section right now) are irregular. For example, one advantage will list the change to CL at the beginning, with the title [eg. Advantage (+X to Cost Level): Description], others will list the change to cost at the end [Advantage: Description (+X to Cost Level)]. If one preferred order could be settled upon, it'd be a lot easier to get the information at a glance.
Minor gripes, really. Awesome work.

Hey, Gramma is our friend... We shouldent kill it by letting such evil errors get away Im not sure about the cost for that option. I think it was Dorknight or PirateSpace who came up with that one, i just copied and pasted... More or less... But im guessing you are talking about the Absorb Energy on Page 5.... And yea... Dont know why i dident notice that right away... Makes it look.... Baaah!!, when somethings have the CL at the start, and others at the end... hmm... At the start seems best... Ill get working on it, so the graphic upgrade will have to wait abit...

I understand some GM's being uncomfortable working with the complete variable nature of Sorcery and limited, but still flexable nature of Mastery of Magic. However, stones of attack are still stones of attack and damage from magic is still damage. The Mastery of Magic rules suggested in that document go directly against the grain of what is presented in the main book. No other Mastery takes an extra Panel to enact an effect, has a stack of other limitations bogging it down, and is required at a specific AN in order to have a higher AN available for 3 other powers. What is presented in this document pretty much neuters users of Magic to the point of almost worthlessness.
For a power that highly suggests taking an Intelligence bonus, but doesn't give a discount for it, making this power +CL option heavy rather obsurd.

The reworked Mastery of Magic was discussed at least twice before, most recently here: [ftp]http://www.murpg.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=House&action=display&thread=1166075745[/ftp] It's also accessible immediately upon entry into the Rules Discussion board. Even if no one has posted in awhile you can probably revitalize it.
This thread we're in is probably better used for discussion of this file's presentation and adequacy.

Ive been working on some graphics for the book, but alas, ive run into some trouble with Microsoft Word... One of the biggest, is every time i trie and convert it into a PDF file, it just seems to freeze... But hopefully, that will be fixed.... Somehow...

Worst case scenario, just download openoffice. It has a built in pdf converter and can read word files. I've never had trouble with it freezing so you should be fine.

Im more or less finished with the file (adding some colors, a front image, ect...), but i thought about adding the Scrapping with Logan and Hank, Introduction and Building Blue Lightning, turning the guide into a small players guide... Any one who would object to that?
EDITED: Dammit... Goddam Microsoft word... Cant really use it for anything... Keeps freezing... Can OpenOffice add a background image? At first i simply threw the image in the back in Word, but it seemed like it took a good deal of memory, so i found out how to add it as a Background image (so the file is easier to edit), but each time i trie the program simply freezes...
