Their first publish run is still better than a first publish run WotC product.
Remember...constructive criticism. Don't mess up a free lunch, dude.

Would just like to second 'Lay Off Em' reply
These guys aren't getting paid for this stuff, they put their own time in and obviously alot of hard work. If you want to criticise make it constructive or don't say anything.
I for one would like to say how grateful I am that someone is actually doing this at all.

"Yawn"? "Better luck next time"? I'm gonna back up what browwiw and Janus said, and add: "Get off your high horse."
Your points may be valid, Omniscient, but when you present them in this holier-than-thou manner, the inclination is to simply brush you off as yet another arrogant know-it-all. These guys have donated their free time to provide the community of a dead RPG with another shot of life, and deserve respect for that. You don't have to agree with their perspective, but you are obligated to show respect. If you don't agree with that statement, then I daresay you don't have a place in the MURPG fan community.
In short: Grow up.

I’m a bit reluctant to jump on the “just let it go” bandwagon because I’ve been pretty hard on some of these packs myself (and I’m still a bit surprised that Puma was omitted) but even I think this is a bit much

Actually a lot of them aren’t all that valid anyway.

[III] was Larry Cranston-> H:5' 10" W: 150 lbs.
[IV] is Alan Fagan-> H:5' 11" W: 165 lbs.
So there was probably just a bit of confusion over which one they were doing. Considering there have been so many losers using this name, it seems like an oversight anyone could make.
Quote: Namorita:
- She's bulletproof. [Toughness +2 = too low]
I can’t really comment on this because I keep hearing stuff about how a character is bulletproof (or just immune to the 2x damage) at X toughness even without buying the “no 2x” advantage but I can’t remember ever reading it in the actual book so I’m clearly missing something here.
Quote: - She's physically stronger than Nova[smarter too]... how much depends on which versions of Nova & Namorita you're trying to represent.
Which one of them has hurt Gladiator of the Shi’ar Imperial Guard? I’ll give you a hint, it wasn’t her.
Quote: - Her STR & SPD drop gradually away from water [just like her "cousin" Namor]
Fair enough. She also has electrical absorption/reflection – like her cousin – but the only time I remember her using it is when she was fighting a bunch of super powered eco-terrorists.
Quote: Night Trasher:
- his armor is dual layered Kevlar/Boro... it's impervious to conventional firearms, [+1] doesnt cut it.
See my above (lack of) commentary RE toughness.
Quote: - Armor also containes Garrotte & Wristblade.
Are you sure that was the armor they’re trying to represent here? He’s had, what, three different suits?
They remembered that he’s damn hard to mind-screw and that he’s pretty much the definition of “peak human” and that’s what matters.
Quote: Nova:
- Is Mutagenic
I can see where it’d be difficult for them to decide on how to classify a human with alien enhancements since the labels are all over the place (from Warbird’s “mutagenic” to Quasar’s “alien” []). This one is a lose-lose situation for anyone trying to put together a bio.
Quote: - is bulletproof … without his Nova Centurion Armor in any of his incarnations.
I don’t recall seeing evidence of that
Quote: Owl:
- IIRC he's 5'11" & 240 lbs.
He only weighs that much when he’s wearing the harness. Without it he’s 20 lbs lighter.
Quote: Prowler:
- weights 170 lbs.
The Spider-Man Encyclopedia disagrees with you. Considering Hobbie was left out of the original Handbook, the Deluxe Edition, both the 2004 & 2005 Spidey Handbooks, and – as far as I know – all of the Updates, I’m wondering where you’re getting the information from anyway. His one official bio is in synch with the fan bio given here; 180 lbs is correct.
Quote: - his Int should not exceed 5.
The dude took cleaning supplies and turned himself into Batman-lite. He’s a whole lot smarter than people think he is.
Quote: Purple Man:
- His STR & SPD are probably no higher than 1.
Eh, I can’t recall the last time I’ve seen him engage in any major physical activities that couldn’t be done horizontally so I can’t say one way or the other.
Quote: Rhino:
- His physical Strength is roughly equal to that of the Thing [9]
- If you give him +4 to Unstoppable[7] you'll make him more unstopabble than Juggernaut [9], and yes even if you change STR to SPD thereby limiting the total to 4+7+4=15 [Juggs has 18] ... it's the AN that determinates the hardness required to "Contain" him, the pool total is just for attack/damage. With Unstoppable of 11 he'll spampede through anything without slowing. [personally i'd say his Unstoppability is 2 w SPD +4 from horn]
His physical power has always come off as pretty variable. It seems to be defined as “the maximum he can be at while still getting beat down by whoever he’s fighting”.
Quote: - It's T H I E V I N G not Theiving
OMG! A typo! Let’s form an angry mob!
Quote: "Better luck next time" -V.
Thanks for giving me a chance to use my snarky fanboy powers for good instead of evil
