I was looking it over and I never realized that Mastery of Kung-Fu doesn't really have a base cost. It basically gives you Ninja but at the Cost level of your AN. Or am I reading this wrong and the CL just wasn't added on accident. Can anyone help me with this? I have a really cool concept for a character and I wanted to use Mastery of Kung-Fu but I may just end up going with Ninja because I don't understand the cost of the Kung-Fu mastery.

Kung-Fu isn't a whole lot like Ninja. Somewhat similar, yes. But also rather different.
If I remember correctly, Ninja allows two weapon modifiers, while Kung-Fu only allows Agility Bonus and Weapon Modifier. That drops down the number of free stones you can load into it. Similarly, I believe Ninjas get to choose their ability bonus, while Masters of Kung-Fu are limited to Agility.
As far as I know, Kung-Fu doesn't include any of the sneaky spy type stuff that Ninja does. It's limited to combat, and maybe acrobatics.
The last major difference I remember is that Ninjas get a free specialty for every rank of their AN, while Masters of Kung-Fu must have the AN, but also NEED TO PAY 1 white stone per specialty.
Forgot to add a cost? No, From what I understand, it's supposed to be that cheap. I don't agree with it either. If nothing else, it serves as close or ranged combat, but doesn't cost more than either of them. But hey, maybe paying for specialties compensates for that.
Oh, and I typed this up without looking at any of the books, so I might be a little off on some of it. Just do a careful re-read and it'll probably make sense.
