Hio all, I had an idea using the MURPG system to make a player/Avatar house rule not unlike one I made for power armors for RL play. and was wondering if anyone had already made a rule similar to this one before or if they have run like a player/avatar like game before and if they had rule I could read threw to get an idea on what they did for it.
The basic idea is that the player would put in stones from there CAD into things like computer or game skill game knowledge ect. then the stones would become the energy to there avatar for them to use that panel. (this is all really ruff idea atm) but the e.g would be
(player)
puts 3 stones into computer +2 int bonus +2 from mod of game skills for total of 7 stones. then the avatar would get 7 stones of energy to use that panel for there actions. (the avitar would suffer from different rules then the murpg system and would tend to be more limited in what they can do (e.g there magic might just be a FB and FF) this would allow the players to use there player cad to try and get around the "weakness" of the avatar game rules (making them almost like a miniature gm) it all a really ruff idea as i said but does anyone have something similar I could read threw see where they went with it or mabi steal a few ideas from that I have not thought of.

I am not completely sure what it is you want to happen here.
So there is a Player and a Avatar. And when the player spends stones into Actions, the Avatar gains extra energy?
So there are essentially 2 people controlled by 1?

well it can be 2 people yes but kinda think like mega man NT warrior, or someone playing league of legends. where the players actions directly affect what the avatar can do. in the example i'm making the RL player will control both but the actions the take on there in game player cad will affect what they can do during there avatar play. I mostly was just wondering if any one had a house rule like this already to give myself a quick read and see what they might have done, as i already have a bunch of ideas and rules on how i'm going to make it work but in case i miss something or they did stuff better.

If I understand it correctly, it seems a little complicated to handle two CADs at once. You could just make one CAD and give it a modifier (maybe call it "Player Skills"), and have it modify certain or all actions the Avatar. BUT, if it is the whole aspect of having two CADs that is appealing to you, then don't don't let me stop you
