Anyone ever write up infinity gems individually? I know all together is instant success, but a single stone would be neat to introduce! Thanks!

I wrote up the Mind Stone a while back for a one shot but never got to that point. If I can find it again I'll post it

Is there really a need to create custom rules around an object with so much power? I mean, they basically do what it says in the tin.

The gems individually are not as powerful as when they are all together.

I’ve always just made them an indestructable item (along with challenges like Conflicting Interests, the stones are sentient... and Deadly Enemies— those that covet the stones)... then made a Mastery around a stone’s purview that only worked IF the character had the stone. IE I’ve got an Adam Warlock aroundhere somewhere with a mastery of the Soul Stone that was built around Imrpoved Drain, Healing, Dimensional Teleport (Soul Gem World), Psychometry, and Control/Manipulate Spirits, Astral Projection, Force Field, etc.
I also included collection perks.. Ie:
A free stones of energy FOR the action (ala Partial Pheonix Force) if coupled with the Power Stone (which tandemed with the Stones feom Imp Drain and Accumulate for Greater Effect could lend to some seriously high stone output).
Time Stone allowed for Infinity Stone actions to not count against Actions Per Panel, and Rapid Accumulate for Infinity Stone Actions among it’s own stuff.
I thought that captured well why some are able to perform more feats than others when in posession of the stones.

They're sentient? I wasn't aware of that.

I started second guessing that, only vaguely recalling issues of Warlock where he conversed with and argued with The Soul Gem... but... From the Marvel wikia, under capabilities: “The gems seem to be much stronger and more powerful when used in combination. Wielders of the gems have increased powers depending on their skill and the amount of experience they have with the gems. The gems are also sentient. The Infinity Gauntlet's power is known to exceed that of abstract entities like Eternity, it seems that the only beings more powerful than the Gems are the Living Tribunal, The One Above All, and Rabum Alal with the power of Beyonders.” marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Infinity_Gems

Hm. That's not many details, but that's very interesting. Thanks for pointing it out.

It’s an excerpt from a MUCH larger article.

I know. I was reading it as I was building my write-up for them. I just missed the sentient part.
