"...Maids. In the Avengers mansion", Cap repeated, after Miyuki and Natsumi were done explaining the situation, and making the suggestion of hiring the girls as their personal maids. Hyatt and Excel were waiting in another room under the watchful eye of Spider-Man and Sersi.
"Yes", Natsumi confirmed.
"Who are both former criminals and minions of Il Palazzo."
"Uh, yep. We... do believe they were manipulated by the charismatic leader rather than actually evil themselves, though. It was kind of loyalty akin to that of a cult member, if you ask me."
"Well, none of us have a perfectly clean slate, Steve", She-Hulk pointed out. "Former crimes can be forgiven, especially under such circumstances. Atonement and reform are big parts of the Avengers' credo, right? Everyone deserves a second chance."
"Yes, but Excel in particular has displayed some aspects of Sociopathic, and possibly even Borderline Personality disorders. She is fairly unstable, and possibly dangerous", Cap noted, sighing.
Natsumi shook her head. "Those can be treated or at least kept in check. Psychologically and magically. And we have more than enough skilled people here to handle her if she goes over the edge. We could be exactly what she needs to become a normal, functioning member of society. Or... at least a functioning one."
"I'm more than willing to provide treatment for her", Stark noted. "The Foundation will pay the bill."
As he saw no other objection around other than his own, Cap finally nodded. "...I suppose that under those conditions... and the additional one that Miyuki and Natsumi make sure to keep them both in check... I can accept that. Very well... you are free to hire them as your maids here, and have them live here. We will prepare a room for them, and they will answer to Jarvis when it comes to maid duties. Is that acceptable?"
"Yes", Natsumi confirmed.
