Just kicking around an idea where timey wimey shenanigans or something erase/disappear (a) hero(es) rather suddenly, and sort of the domino/butterfly effect of that one act radiating throughout the shared universe. Inspired somewhat by "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow", but since you all hate DC, open to doing something similar in Marvel, possibly with Spider-Man, Captain America, or a similarly "iconic" character vanishing.
