This week I finished watching the fifth and last season of this series and I loved it. The character development is amazing and if someone is curious about a series that mixes heartfelt moments with humor and all tied up in ADVENTURE! I wouldn't hesitate recommending it.

I really enjoyed it, too. The first season is pretty kiddy and episodic, but it has more serialized relationships that grow wonderfully over time. I feel like it gets pretty bleak around the 3rd and 4th seasons, with almost every episode ending on a downer, and most characters constantly either crying or arguing with each other, but season 5 was refreshingly energetic and hopeful. It feels a bit like Kirkland brand Avatar, but honestly I'll take that any day.

This is not She-Ra, that's for sure, but it could be interesting in a somewhat classic kind of way.
