I enjoyed the first episode. Admittedly it was basically just "hey, do you like Superman? Here's some Superman's greatest hits stuff for you!" but we'll see how it all goes.

Watched it and quite liked it, as WK says it's pretty "here, have some good old Superman" but it's a more than welcome take, specially recently. The tough job comes now, getting an interesting episode every week.

It's pretty good. Not sure how it fits into the Arrowverse but I've never watched any of the other shows. It feels better written from my limited experience. We'll see how it goes. Though, judging by a previous Supergirl episode, shouldn't it be Superman and Lewis? Someone mispronounced it once in a clip I saw.

It's pretty good. Not sure how it fits into the Arrowverse They just rebooted the Arrowvers last season so understanding the Arrowverse isn't really necessary anyway. Until now, crossovers notwithstanding, they've been fairly self-contained shows, but since they joined all the universes...

Yeah but this doesn't feel like it even takes place in the same universe as Supergirl, let along Batwoman.

Yeah but this doesn't feel like it even takes place in the same universe as Supergirl, let along Batwoman. I couldn't respond to that as I never tried to watch Batwoman and I gave up on Supergirl long ago (twice... I gave it a chance twice...), but, if you're comparing previous seasons to this season, they weren't in the same universe until now. If you're just comparing this particular season of each show... sounds disappointing if you actually care about those shows. I would say though that Batman and Superman (I know we're talking Batwoman here but she lives in Batman's "world") have pretty much always seemed to exist more in parallel, similar but separate universes in their solo stories, and the interesting part has always been how they come together when necessary. Even ignoring their individual psychology, the "internal logic" of the Bat-verse is that the world is a place that tends toward darkness where the nicest thing you can say about people in general is that not all of them are actively evil, some of them just passively allow evil to rule (and the Bat-family is by and large the sole exception). Conversely the "internal logic" of Superman is that people generally are good and want to live in a good world, with evil people being an exception, and Superman only having to step in where ordinary people are overwhelmed by the strength of the evil doers.

I was mostly just confused. It's supposed to take place in the Arrowverse but seemed to be ignoring that fact.
