It has been a few days since Ishbel and Sechs had agreed to enter into the academy ran by Professor Xavier. The experience varied for the two as they got accustomed to the mansion grounds and the school itself. Though they did not attend class or trainings yet, the new experience proved challenging enough to the new mutants. Jake, who had a week head start from the two was still getting used to it as well, but was more assimilated and adapted. He was also told that very soon he'd be put in a newly developed class with all the newbies, and he'd finally be able to attend a class/trainings. All three had a few days of time to get more accustomed with the grounds, although as stated before, the experiences varied. (OOC: Go ahead and read your individual portions, and based on that you may write out your journal entry in your CADs. Please also scroll down to the very bottom for your joint post.) - IshbelThe mansion was something way more large and crowded than Ishbel was ever used to. So much space, but so many people surrounding her. Life would be so different here, no doubt. The transition, though, would be a little easier with her brother on site. Any time she felt like it was getting to be too much, she could visit her brother for some familiar ease. Not that her emotions were too much of an issue anymore, though. After her first day, Isbhel was visited by a large blue furry man named Hank McCoy. His code name, Beast, suited him very well. "With the help of a friend of mine, we were able to develop a device for you, Ishbel. One that will assist you in controlling your powers since you are unable to turn it off." He instructed her when he gave her a device to wear. This device was to be worn on her wrists, and was the size of a standard wrist watch, but looked very techy. "I hope you can utilize this device to it's full potential. Just think of it as your standard wrist watch. There is a digital clock on it when it's not in use for your powers, so the transition should be fluid. For, just like your powers, time is important. 'The present time has one advantage over every other—it is our own.' Charles Caleb Colton. Be sure to say safe, young lady." Mr McCoy winked to her after giving her the device. [OOC: This device will replace your current disadvantage on your Action. Will now be replaced with "Power out of control without device" while you are using this technology. Much like Cyclops' ruby glasses, this device will allow Ishbel to control her power a bit easier. Her power is absorbed at her wrists, but can be released in any way she desires. And though her hair is like fire, the device absorbs her aura, so she can sleep on a regular pillow again. Isbhel has been warned, though, that this is only a prototype, and has its limits. Hopefully Isbhel can come to control her powers normally (AKA buying off challenges with stones) or she can overcome her powers in other ways in the future.] With this new device, Ishbel could seemingly live a normal life again. And even though she was still hot headed with a quick temper, she would no longer need to rely on her medication to control her powers, just her moods if she wanted. (OOC: that's another thing. You will have to let me know if you have taken your meds for your other challenge: "Needs Medication to Stay Calm and if not Psychological: Shortest of Tempers") The first two nights in the academy could have been lonely in her room, but she soon realized that Sam was going to be her roommate when she got better. The forced emotions on both Ishbel, and then double for herself, must have taken a large toll on Sam. So after the third day, Sam would return to her normal room and be roomies with Ishbel. Whether that was a welcome or a hindrance was up to her. For the time being, though, Ishbel was able to associate with anyone freely as she wanted in order to gain friends, visit her brother in the mechanic shop of the academy, or stay alone any time she wanted. That would soon change, though as classes were going to begin soon. - SechsSechs was roomed with a shape shifting mutant named Johns. Johns was extremely outgoing and, most of the time, would not shut up about anything that came across his mind. He was an oversharer. He was overly friendly. He was a goofball. And he was going to be Sechs' roommate for the foreseeable future. Once he learned he was getting a roommate, Johns wanted to know everything that Sechs would share with him. What he'd get was up to Sechs ultimately, but he seemed genuine in his forced friendship. It was a little hard to understand Johns at first, because he spoke in the third person when he wasn't imitating someone else's form with his power. Mentally, there MIGHT have been something mentally off with this guy, but again, he seemed genuine enough. Still, it MAY have proved to be a little much to Sechs, depending on how he felt about Johns. Because Sechs did not go to school growing up, teachers would sometimes visit him to speak with him. He was visited by a variety of different men of different shapes, sizes and texture. One of the men was a giant man made of metal. The other was a monster-like man with blue fur, and the demon-like Kurt also visited him to speak with him in his natural tongue if he so desired. They all wanted to speak with Sechs regarding his scholastic education, and sat with him for brief periods. After tiny, not even hour long sessions, they found his intellect to be something to be marveled at. Though he didn't have a proper education, picking up subjects and learning them came somewhat easy to Sechs. This let them to assure Sechs that he'd be placed in a normal class here he'd get to learn more subjects in a few days. He was even visited by a woman with a southern accent to give him special clothing. "This here's special clothes for you, sug. The tech guys gave 'em to me to tell ya they can become liquid with you when ya transform. Lucky you." She winked to him. (OOC: You can put in your equipment your X-suit that can transform into liquid with you when you use your mastery. Just know objects that are with you will not transform with you, only your clothing) When he was not visited by his roommate or teachers, Sechs had some free time to explore the mansion anywhere he'd like to. The mansion had a music room he quickly found, so maybe some time there would be nice. It also had students with various interests. Sechs had a number of ways to spend his current free time, but his free time was coming to a close soon, as the classes the teachers were talking about would beginning very soon. - JakeCurrently Jake still had no roommate, which might be preferred by him. He was more knowledgeable of the mansion and it's students than his fellow new mutants who were just getting accustomed to the life here. Jake had cliques that he was aware of, and maybe even decided to join them in some activities, but it was all up to him and how he felt certain days. Since he had just gone to a mission with him recently, Kurt started coming by to say hello to Jake here and there. He must have felt more comfortable around the young man after going on a successful mission. (OOC: Because Jake has been here the longest and is already experienced here, you can tell me how he spent his extra free time these last few days, and what cliques he was already part of, or what type of friends he would have made. I will create NPCs based on what you'll be writing) In between his free time, unless he took issue with it, it would seem the teachers were more comfortable with asking things of Jake. Be it small tasks, favors, or even delegating responsibilities, the teachers seem to be able to rely on Jake when it came to certain things. Again, unless he took issue with it and made it a point to them. Something told him that Jean was putting it out there that Jake was this reliable student who could assist those if they needed it. Especially if what they needed was something his powers could help with.. But Jake's free time would be cut off very soon as the classes that were being talked about would, apparently, be starting soon for everyone. And he'd be part of the newest formed class, so he'd be in with Sechs and some other new kids. === EveryoneThe new classes would begin today! Isbhel, Jake, Sechs and a handful of newer mutants would be put in Classroom J. The newest class would be lead and taught by a set of rotating teachers based on the subject being taught. The classes would be mostly scholastics, but would end with training their mutant powers. "Though you are mutants, you are also young minds in need of education. One must not neglect their studies, for ignorance is more dangerous than any powers you may possess." Doctor McCoy spoke first for the class, preparing to teach them on various subjects for the day. A few hours of class daily, and then power training. Seemed like an understandable routine for these young students. The class ended, as stated, with powers training. The class was taken to a section of the mansion they noticed needed lots of accesses to get into. "You will not be able to come into this place without a teacher, you understand?" The teacher known as Colossus stated. "This is a dangerous room you are going to enter, and so no entry is permitted unless you are with teacher. Let us go inside together now." He nodded. Inside was a very large and very empty room. Some of the students, even Jake, may have heard of this room called the Danger Room. "This is good room. Good for releasing stress. Observe." He said as he started walking forward. Then, out of nowhere, a large brick wall spawned in front of the large man. "You may let loose in this room. Be able to use powers in any way to help you defeat strong objects." He said punching the brick wall. It shattered into pieces, and he nodded to the new students. "For those with strength, break walls. For those who do not have destructive powers, find a way to get AROUND wall." He said, and a number of large brick walls appeared. For those with destructive powers, they were asked to break walls. For those who had less destructive powers, and maybe more versatility, they were asked to get around the walls and various obstacle courses. They would do this for some time to allow them to one, vent some pent up aggression they may have had, and two, gain a better control of their powers. (OOC: Go ahead and post a single post worth's of actions, and it'll essentially carry forward for the entire class here. We'll move forward here away from class in a bit )

It's been a weird few days on the Academy or School or whatever, and even if Ishbel was as grateful as she could be, the classes were horrifyingly boring. She wasn't dumb, but she wasn't interested and she had no patience for whatever she wasn't interested in. Ishbel did her best to look like she was paying attention just because it was Hank the one teaching the class, as he was the cool nerd that made the gizmo that helped her get her life back. She had ditched the medication into the very end of the lowest drawer in her room's nightstand, so she was back on track on being herself, something she loved. A good chunk of the class had been spent with her scribbling and scratching codenames into a piece of paper, since everyone here seemed to have one. Some of the cool fire related ones were already in use, but she was starting to like Scorch for herself. Luckily for her, they soon moved into the Danger Room for the first time. She had heard something from Sam, but she didn't know what would look like until she got there. After a thankfully brief explanation, she finally had something practical to do: crush a wall. Sure, maybe she could avoid it somehow, but it was there for crushing right? "Okay, lets do this" Ishbel's hair flared up, it felt so good to let loose. The yellow irises of her otherwise completely black eyes sparkled into life. She was basically aflame, though her and her clothes were safe, no one else close by would, the room was spacey though. "Hmmm, can't quite burn down a brick wall, it would take forever" she hummed, thinking out loud. "I'm supposed to be able to direct this, now that I can focus..." Ishbel extended her hands, trying to focus the fire in a narrower point, give it shape, remembering her first time when it burned wildly, the Ghost Rider was there... "Whoa" it wasn't quite stable, as it flamed and flickered, but she had a few feet of chain made of fire in her hands, dangling from them. It wasn't ideal for the task at hand, but maybe she could work around it. Wrapping the chain around her right fist and forearm, Ishbel made a flaming chain knuckle out of it, and without a second thought she stepped in close to the wall, turned her hips and threw a punch with all her might...

SECHSToday was his first day of classes. It would be the first time he would ever be taking lesson given by an actual teacher. He would usually just read about whatever subject interested him in the library and commit it to memory, these kind of things tended to stick easily with him, so how would this be any different? The first teacher they had that morning was one he had already met and talked with. M. McCo. And to no surprise to himself, the subject was quite easy to grasp and he took mental note of everything on the board, while keeping an eye on his own book. But he couldn't help but keep an eye on every other student in the classroom as it was still a reflex to keep watch of his environment no matter where he was, albeit as discreetly as possible as he was used to, he would observe his classmate, what were they doing? Any habits? -------------------------------------- I'll be using 3 in Int to memorize whatever the teacher is giving us. Also be using 3 in thieving, hiding, to observe my comrades. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Once the first academic class was over, it was time for training their power, that was the one thing he was the most curious about, he hadn't seen that danger room but he had heard of it here and there. Catching up to Jake and walking the way there with the rest of the class, they were accompanied by the giant metallic man, Colossus was it? A name certainly lived up to. He had notice everyone kinda had some nickname like that. Like some kind of super heroes. He thought this was a school. Since they were gonna train using their power, he had taken the time to put on his X-suit under his normal clothes. The top tank he was wearing left his arms free, showing off the complexes tattoos he had inked in his flesh that covered both his arms like sleeves. On the way there he took notice of the girl he had seen on his first day here, well...at the time it was Johns transforming into her, he wonder if she was aware of that. Anyway, she looked like someone you didn't want to mess with. He probably had that similar air about him as well, just from his more shadowy demeanor, having traded his glasses for lenses, it would certainly make it easier to train. His long tentacles would sway along his walk as they made it to the danger room. Reflexively, he took note of all the security passes they went through, trying to take note of any code or password entered as they went. ---------------------------------------------- 4 in thieving to note any passcodes or security measure on the way to the danger room ------------------------------------------------------------------- When they finally got to the room, a quick summary of what the room did and how they were not to enter without a teacher was explain to them as they where then told to use their power to either destroy the brick walls or go around them. Sechs looked at Jake for a moment, then at the rest of the class, curious to see where everyone stood. Today would be a good way to assess where everyone stood, who was a powerhouse and who was not. He wasn't sure where he stood himself but he didn't want to try exploding again, he didn't feel like his control was proper enough to try and go for a blast and so he chose to practice his own maneuverability instead. He nodded to the teacher as more brick walls started to appear and lifted himself off the ground using his telekinesis. This would be good practice for his focus as well. The young mutant started floating, his tentacles hair floating around him freely, he started moving around the brick walls, dodging them when they popped, trying to barely graze them and practice his precision as much as he could. Gracefully moving around. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Health 4/4 Energy 12/12 5 into Telekinesis, 2 to lift myself up the ground, 3 for control. Energy 8/12

Jake looked at the wall punching and shrugged. His main power set was all about avoiding physical reality he could make it across the danger room without traveling through the intervening space.
He grinned at Sechs and then vanished, floating up to the ceiling to watch the other students. There was a disconnect that was starting to grow inside of him. It felt like reality was optional for him, he could simply be an observer when he chose. He felt just as at home in Astral Space as he did in Material Space. Sure it took effort to stay in the Astral but there was a feeling inside of him that told him that did not have to be the case. He was a being of psionic energy, he could grow here, become more and more powerful.
He shook his head, dismissing the thoughts. He could talk to Miss Grey or the Professor later. For all that they were more physical beings than him they were far more powerful than he was, for the moment.
He watched the other students, assessing their powers and abilities. He would return to the material plane when they started doing something interesting. He was certainly interested in some of what the x-men did. He had gotten to watch Kurt combat training in the danger room and the blue skinned mutant had a style that fascinated him.
It would take some time to adapt to combat using his own powers. He was far better at fighting things with minds than his friend but the Professor had trained Kurt and would doubtless be able to train him.

During Class:
Some of the students were struggling with the academic portion of the classes, while others didn't seem to mind, or even enjoyed the scholastics they were receiving. Whereas someone may like the danger room and the activities in there, some preferred the safety and ease of the classroom. This was true of at least Sam and a few other students.
While Ishbel was in the class, she had a difficult time finding desire to participate in the lessons being had. She tried, but seemed to always mentally go back to code names, and trying to find one for herself. Who could blame her, though? Classes are boring...
"Hmm. I'm sorry, Ishbel. I do not believe the answer to 'What does DNA stand for?' is 'The Flamer' or 'Scorch.'" The hairy nerd Hank came to whisper to Ishbel as he took note of her "notes." "Astounding name, though, no doubt." He smiled with a nod to her while going back to the front of the class to continue teaching the lesson.
Sechs was one who grasped these lessons with ease, no doubt to his natural intelligence. It was odd that he never had a class in his life, but was able to pick up things with ease. Who knows where he could be if he had a normal upbringing and was taken to school as a young boy. Even still, though, old habits died hard. He would find himself taking a peak at his surroundings. Perhaps for security, perhaps for curiosity. He'd note all of the students and try to see if they had any weird quirks about them. A few things stood out to him, but nothing significant. The girl known as Ishbel would scribble in her notepad, perhaps taking notes of the class, or writing something else. Another student he did not know the name of yet would, at random intervals, pop bubble gum during class. An action that prompted Dr McCoy to take a trash can for her to spit the gum out after the third pop. Johns would constantly be doing something other than participating in the class. Often he'd be trying to make eye contact with Sechs to get him to laugh somehow, perhaps by morphing into others and making weird faces. This would get him a scolding from the teacher..
Sechs even tried to see what the security codes for the way to the Danger Room was. A few of the security measures were done by scans of the hand, but for the Danger Room specifically, Sechs noticed the code Colossus used: 042686.
---
Danger Room
Each student had their own powers, and so they dictated which activity they would be training with. For those who had powerful offensive prowess, they'd attempt to attack the brick walls. For those who were not so confident in their abilities, they'd attempt a small obstacle course given to them. There were some who had non-combat related powers like that of Sam. It wasn't like she'd be able to control the wall's emotions, or anything like that. Still, the students were asked to participate in the obstacle course if anything.
"You never know when danger may strike, and you need to be ready to avoid problems." Colossus stated to those who wanted to opt out of the danger room activities.
--Ishbel knew where she stood when it came to this activity. Power up and punch. Sounded simple enough. To complex things, she attempted to create a weapon out of her powers. Now that she had her device, she could focus her powers into one place, and create a chain-like weapon. At first it was more like a limp rope. Trying harder it became more like a whip. Trying harder she got something that resembled a chain, as best as she could anyways. Still, the ability to wrap her arm/hand with it was good enough. She targeted the wall with a punch and hit it. She wasn't able to break the wall, but she did good damage to it. If this wall was a person, it'd be hurting right about now. Still, it felt good to be able to get the power under control. What didn't feel so great was the fact that she was not able to finish the wall off. She was giving the wall damage, and noticed some progress in her damage to the wall, but she sort of wanted to be able to at least get a hole through it.
After a few punches she made a good dent to the wall. It would probably take a few more punches to get through, but something happened that pissed her off. All of her progress was erased as the wall healed itself, going back to it's original undamaged self. Ishbel's temper started heating up a little, as she'd have to start ALL over on the wall she was working on. It was hard not to get a LITTLE competitive when she noticed at least 2 of her fellow classmates had powers that allowed them to break the wall outright.
"Ishbel. You are grasping the exercise well." Colossus said commending Ishbel, and then pointing to her wrist device. He observed them for a moment, and smiled. "Hmmm. Beast does good work, yes? With this you can focus power. Something I have observed you doing very well. More important than focus, though, is to not give into rage. Something Logan can perhaps help you with in future, but will need to address when you can."
--Sechs was still a little weary about using his powers as the last time he did, it was destructive. So instead of attacking a wall, he lifted himself up telepathically to try and maneuver around. It took awhile for him to learn to even lift himself, but once he did, he tried to get around the obstacle course as best he could. At first it was a total fail. Simply lifting yourself would not do anything make you a ragdoll trying to swim in the air. It wasn't until Sechs applied some control to the powers that he was able to get around, albeit with some difficulties still.
"Hm. Sechs. No flight is seen in your powers here." Colossus said looking at a chart. "You are lifting yourself with telekinesis, yes? Not so good for flight, but in a pinch can help, yes." He made mention. It was true, telekinesis was no flight, as some students with the ability to fly seemed to be able to maneuver around the course with more ease than Sechs was able to. Still, it was good to know it was a possibility if it came down to needing to use it.
"Perhaps next time you can focus on telekinetic attacks against walls. Here in Danger Room, you have nothing to fear. If you would like private sessions, I will be happy to help so you feel more comfortable." Colossus offered to Sechs.
--Jake floated to the ceiling to watch the other students participate in the activities given to them. He knew what his power was, and how to use it. He had just accomplished a mission while out in Sech's recruiting mission. When it came to obstacles, it was a little too easy for him. Any obstacle could be avoided while he was in the astral plane. So, for the time being, he observed his classmates in action. Some of them had powerful offensive abilities, allowing them to damage the walls provided to them. Others were doing well in the obstacle course, avoiding any dangers presented to them. Sechs was floating around in mid-air sort of trying to fly, but flight was definitely not in his power set...
"Jake. Please be coming over here." Colossus called out to Jake. "Am unable to see you while you are in astral plane. Cannot track progress, but know you have powers that will allow you to bypass any obstacle here." He nodded. "Astral plane, something I am not very familiar with. Perhaps you can take me with you to astral plane for brief moment, yes?" He requested of Jake. Jake had no reason to not oblige, so he took his teacher to the astral plane with him.
"I see. Physically, no danger exist to you. But you must still be careful of dangers around." He advised Jake. "Notice." He said pointing to the student known as Ishbel. She was currently using her powers to punch a wall. In doing so her rage was getting built up, and it was clear she was getting more into the activity as her attacks continued to grow stronger with each strike she gave. But that was not what Colossus was warning about. Not Ishbel herself, but her powers. "Phsyically, Ishbel here would not be able to hit you. But if you come closer to her.." He said asking to get a little closer. "You can still feel heat, yes?" He made mention. Ishbel's power was like that of fire. It was indeed hot to be around while she was lashing her power out. "So even in astral plane, you can take potential damage. Perhaps we can create an obstacle course for you to go through using different elements to test you. I know Kurt likes to participate in such obstacles. No more easy walls." He offered laughing. "For now, let me out of astral form. Need to address Ishbel here. This one seems to have temper." He said nervously.
----
After class
"You have all done very well! Please go ahead and rest for the rest of day. Tomorrow is class again, so we will continue with next activity." Colossus said dismissing the class. 3pm, still a little early in the day, but class was definitely exhausting today. And thank GOD for no homework! Something the majority of the class was dreading without speaking it into existence. The mansion was now open to the students to explore, or rest in. Whatever they wanted to participate in was up to them to explore.
(OOC: Welcome to free time in the academy. After class you're able to do whatever you'd like. If you'd like to talk to one another, NPCs, or a teacher, go ahead and say so. You're free to do whatever you'd like to do for the time being. I'll have something soon to bring you all together, but for the time being just say what you'd like to do and I'll go along with it. If there's anything you'd like to react to in class, go ahead and react to it and I'll write up a follow up if needed.)

SECHS
The young mutant tried to focus his power to lift himself off the ground, but it didn't go as well as he had imagined it. Not only did he did not quite succeeded in trying to dodge and do the obstacles course, he undertsood that his abilities did not lie there as he saw others with actual flight capacity move around with much more ease. Well, at least it was best he realize that now then too late in an actual dangerous situation.
Letting out a sigh, he notice the teacher walking to him, effectively telling him he sucked at flying. He had already figured that one out but it still pinch his pride to hear it from the teacher. No matter. He wasn't really comfortable with so many people around, he kinda wanted to crawl into a corner and hide, but, things were different now weren't they? He had to do an effort.
Letting out a few curse choice words in german, he turned his gaze toward Colossus and nodded.
-I'd rather experiment with my powers when I'm sure there is no risk of harming others...mind you...I'm not even sure of what I can do...-
He said with a more fluent english then he was used to, but the german accent still weight heavy in his tone.
After class, Sechs would talk a bit with Jake and John.

DANGER ROOM
Ishbel was no stranger to hard work, mechanics always were a task of testing her patience and knowledge, but she usually was able to sort things out even if she wasn't as good as her brother. She was fine without being the best mechanic around, as long as she did the job, it was just honest work and she felt fine with it. But not only being unable to break that wall when others easily dealt with it, and seeing all her work undone? "Oh hell, I'm going to work this out with some elbow grease..." Ishbel was intending to focus all her might, hell even get a running start if that helped with the punch, when another kind of wall stepped next to her.
A preachy wall.
The compliments from Colossus were more or less fine, she didn't care about them though she did nod a bit when mentioning Hank's astounding work with the device. Her aura was flaring, and yet the metallic teacher didn't even flinch, the flames reflected on his silver skin. "First day of exercise and I'm already getting lectured about rage?!" her volume of speech certainly wasn't civil. "It's just a wall! A cheating, fake wall! No one is getting injured in here!" Ishbel took a couple of steps back, drew her arm and run in for a punch against the wall. She was so angry, she was going to prove Colossus and everyone there that she could-
Without focus, her aura flared furious everywhere, causing her chain to fade into flames that went everywhere without much control. Ishbel managed to slow down her charge, but still got a good punch into the wall. "Fuck!" she shouted, hurting herself. She knew she didn't break anything from experience, it wouldn't be the first time, but she did scrap her knuckles and bled a bit. What was hurting was her pride, as the flames receded from pure embarrassment, as she held her injured hand and looked down.
"Someone did get injured" Colossus said patiently. "Let me take you to the infirmary" he said.
"I know where it is!" she barked back, leaving to get her hand tended.
. . .
DETENTION / COUNSELING
Ishbel flexed the fingers of her bandaged hand, opening it and closing into a fist. It was fine, nothing dire. A heavy sigh sunk her shoulders down, her usually lively hair reduced to a billowing, sad flame. She was waiting, sitting down in a bench near to a door. She was supposed to be... in detention due to her antics? Or was it some sort of counseling? At least her outburst didn't break Hank's device, she would have hated herself for that after he put so much work into it.

Jake wandered along with Sechs, they had gotten along since the trip to Germany and were mostly in the same classes.
"Mate, you're not the only Teke around." He said in reply to his friends complaints, using the common abreviation for telekinetic. "So you don't know what you can do, find out what other tekes can do. I bet Doc McCoy has a whole bundle of files about telekinesis."
"As to your 'inky' power, well, the Doc and the Prof are the biggest experts on the planet on mutant powers. It's not like they are tough to find."
"Look, I was gonna go find the Doc and see what he knows about psionic energy beings, they are bound to have projections or something. If they have data, it's our data, they should let us have a look. And if they don't..." He said with a grin and a waggle of his eyebrows.
They both know of Sechs' ability to get into places he wasn't supposed to. Add that to Jakes ability to pass through walls, doors and basically anything else he came across and there was a limited number of things that could stop them.

Walking with Jake, Sechs nodded. He certainly wasn't the only one with telekinetic powers, that would have been surprising anyway. But he wasn't sure about asking others about it, everyone seems to have their own variations and stuff.
-Yeah...-
He chuckled a bit, something he had been able to do a bit more freely since coming here, but mostly only in the presence of Jake. He nodded.
-It is a place of learning after all right?-
He said. His tentacles hair were simply resting on his shoulders at the moment while the two longest ones limped on his back.
-Any after class plans?-
He asked.

"Go grab the Doc and shake him upside down, see what answers fall out?" Said Jake with a wide grin on his face.
"No time like the present right? The sooner we know how we can get ultimate cosmic power the sooner we can find our iddy biddy living space."
Jake had been told he was a psionic energy being. That his healing ability was essentially his body returning to how his mind thought it should be. The idea that he was how he thought he should be had potential consequences that he wanted to explore. Getting an expert opinion however would be useful.

Sechs nodded.
-Sure...Might still be in a class or something...-
He added, ready to follow his companion and get those answers out of the blue teacher.

"Well, there's the Prof as well. Or Miss Grey. I mean, what's the chances of them all being busy, right?"
He figured classes all ran to standard times so the teachers were hopefully between breaks now.

Ishbel"Well...is important.." Colossus mentioned to her. After her breakout and rage induced attacks, she was sent to the infirmary to get a quick patch on her knuckles. Luckily her rage didn't get her in trouble, but she was asked to sit outside a room until called in. She was used to this type of situation ending up with detention, but it didn't seem to be the case here. Instead they just wanted her to speak with someone it seemed. After a few minutes Colossus himself came out of the room to greet her. "Your hand is helped, yes? Very good." He smiled. The large teacher was no longer in his metallic form. "Please, walk with me Ishbel. You are not in trouble, I assure you." He said lending a large hand to help her up if she'd accept it. "Believe or not, many of the X-men here have large temper. Just like you. You are young and finding out about powers. Is natural I think." He nodded to her, somewhat dismissing her temper issues. "Believe or not again, I have very big temper. BIG temper. Especially when in fights. However, is all about self control. Today you lose yours. Tomorrow, you hopefully will control it better. Or maybe not. Maybe you lose it again. It is fine, just learn from it and become better." He said. "You have friends and family in all of us. You no longer look out for yourself, but have others to help here too. Would be bad if you hurt someone with your temper, yes? So be mindful of where you point your anger to. Also." He said pointing to Ishbel's new device. "Beast tells me these device can only hold so much power. If you lose your temper too much, you can break device. If device breaks, friends and family in danger." He said sternly. He opened the door to get outside the mansion. "We all can use some help with things. Even teachers. We are not perfect either. So if you wish for help with anything, even temper, we can help. I can help you if asked. But it is when you want to. Ball is in your court." He smiled. "Whenever is fine. Just know it is available any time. That is all I wish to say to you, Ishbel. Again, you are not in trouble, but I just wish to tell you I am here to help." He smiled. "For now, I have garden to look after. Last duties for the day, but I enjoy." OOC: Ishbel is now free to wander anywhere she would like, or speak to whoever she likes to ) -- Sechs"Like I say, you may ask any teacher to take you to danger room if you want more practice in safer environment. Will be happy to help." He smiled. The offer stood for Sechs to go back into the danger room with any teacher of his choice. Or, he could potentially go in by himself now that he knew the code to get in. -- Sechs and JakeThe two mutants were hanging out after class and decided they wanted to get a private study session going. They decided to visit one of the teachers, either Jean or the professor for more knowledge on their powers. As they decided to go back to the mansion to try and find one of the two, they were stopped by a large familiar figure. "Hmm! I see you tWo are up thoo noo ghood!" The very familiar metallic visual of Colossus approached them. "In thrubble bohth of you are-eh!" He said. Very familiar figure, not so familiar voice at all.. "Johns." the two mutants simultaneously thought. "Heh heh. Ookay ookay. I need teh wourk on-eh my accent-eh." He said going from a horrible Russian accent and ending in a horrible Italian accent for some reason. Changing back to his normal form, Johns waved to the two. "Yo. What are you two trouble makers getting into? Johns is bored." He said to them. When they explained they were going to go look for Jean or the professor, he nodded. "Heh. Johns is always with Jean it seems. Always scolding Johns. Anyways, I think she and the professor are together right now, practicing with the brain toy. We can find 'em if you want." Johns offered his company. (OOC: If you don't want Johns to come, let me know. He'll be fine either way, but let me know if you want to just keep it to you two only.) Going to the mansion, it seemed Johns was right, and they found out that Jean and the professor were practicing with Cerebro at the moment, and that they were busy for the time being. So the option now was to find another teacher, Hank, or go into the professor's room to look for the information themselves.

SECHS
Even though the teacher had offered him to go back to danger room any time he needed with any of the teachers, he still wasn't sure how to handle that. Having to rely on others was entirely new to him, but he had to admit that not having to worry about starving was pretty nice. He would still end up sleeping on the floor from time to time though. Habits die hard.
As he left the place with Jake, they were soon interrupted by a certain someone who was not who he seemed to be.
-Das hört sich furchtbar, Your accent doesn't even remotely sound like his...-
He said to John, even though his own accent was quite heavy while speaking english. He still grateful for whatever the professor did to help him speak better.
-Oh, yeah, thanks, we'll be on our way then we'll catch you later..-
Sechs said, waving good-bye to John. Makng their way to the teachers, Jean and the Professor were busy, so they had to find someone else.
-The teacher's room then?-
The young german mutant ask, turning to Jake.

Ishbel got up by herself without Colossus' help, but otherwise her hostile attitude was toned way down. "A walk..." she sighed and accepted. His words about not being in trouble were calming. It wasn't like she feared being expelled just by what had happened, but the mere idea of it considering Duncan and her had nowhere to go was enough to send some goosebumps along her skin for a moment. "You have a big temper? I didn't expect that..." she admitted, since as intimidating his size could be his attitude was so demure that the idea was almost unthinkable. "I've been mindful of not hurting anyone all along, I don't know if the Professor told you, or maybe Hank, but before this" Ishbel said raising her arm with the device, "I was keeping myself on check with way too many calming pills and felt like a zombie, so my dedication to avoid damages is clear..." she said, a bit angry since that was something she didn't feel there was ground to question, but she kept herself on check, the metallic dude was only trying to help. "The only times I got in troubles before this was because I defended what I believe, because I punched bullies wherever I went" she sighed. "It should be fine here, I guess" she added, shrugging. "But thanks for not making a big thing out of this and offering help" Ishbel nodded. The big guy was hard to be angry with, he wasn't at fault and his earnestness was somewhat disarming. "I'll... I'll think about it, have fun with the... uh, garden" she smiled, waving him away. Gardening. What and odd man. Without much else to do, she walked the now known path to the workshop, expecting to see Duncan or someone else she knew around there.
