Sam's agreement to a hot tub session was still buzzing around Ishbel's mind when she approached the makeshift diving board, but it faded as she noticed Johns' antics in there. The guy was committed to his act, and in small doses he could be endearing. She floated there, enjoying his jokes about some kind of weird X-Men maneuver. Ishbel wondered how Johns came up with such a ridiculous idea about throwing a teammate away, but he made it work for his diving show. The splash was huge, Ishbel hoped that no one nearby the shore had been surprised by that, and she couldn't help but laugh when Johns approached.
"I think that getting tossed into the enemy is a poor idea" Ishbel answered between fits of laughter. It was some simple fun, she had been missing that without even noticing. It was odd seeing Johns change shapes, but even the new girl knew that trying to keep him from doing so lead nowhere, and he didn't mean ill with that. "She's out there with friends, didn't want to get into-" Ishbel tried to explain, when her whole world was turned upside down, swallowed by a sudden crash of water.
Disoriented and finding herself back in land, Ishbel coughed out some lake water while she looked around, ears ringing for a few seconds. She didn't have a clue about what happened, was everyone alright? Johns was close to her when it happened, he should be around. But then as the ringing in her ears stopped, and she managed to stand on her feet, she started to understand what had happened.
It was a bully.
In other circumstances Ishbel would worry about the people dragged by the wave. In other circumstances she'd try to reach for the person responsible if it was an accident, since she knew how dangerous power out of control could be. But that girl ordering people around? Oh Ishbel knew her kind. It was the kind that made her blood boil. It was the kind that got her in fights and expelled.
Ishbel approached firmly, her aura doing wonders to dry her clothes as her anger raised. "You still have the chance to say you're sorry and join people in the same circumstances as you are, unwind a little bit" she said to her, tension obvious as she did her best to not raise her voice and call her names. "You could have injured someone, or worse" she said, feeling it raise, her blood boiling. "Or if you insist on making an ass of yourself, you can always come here and we can solve this without powers, mano a mano" Ishbel used both hands to make a come here gesture to Melissa.
"That is, unless you're a coward" she shrugged.

"Yea 'cause of course someone has gotta commit social suicide. I'll go look for people in the water, you go stop the fight. If I do it someone is gonna end up in Canada." Projected Jake, sounding annoyed.
He slipped into the Astral Plane and headed into the Lake looking for students in the lake who might be injured or struggling.
Hopefully Robbie could stop the fight. No one here wanted violence, well except maybe Melissa and Ishbel, but Melissa would suffer the consequences for months. If the teachers were doing their jobs none of this would be happening.
Teenagers with super powers was a recipe for disaster, but when the teenagers thought it was up to them to change the world and they were living in a world that hated and feared them, and didn't get the constant supervision they needed... what could possibly go wrong? Sigh.

After handing the guitar to his classmate, they started to play together and soon enough. without realising it, they had attracted a good amount of people to their little music circle. It was all good and fun until something happened, of course something would happen. As everyone kinda stopped what they were doing to turn their attention toward the event going on. The young german mutant recognize the voice of the girl that was complaining a bit earlier and she was apparently the cause of the mess. He let out a sight. He never really had to deal with teenager temper and stuff before, mostly because he lived on the street and only bother about his own skin, but this girl was putting everyone here in danger. He tappped gently on Bao's shoulder, then got up after leaving the guitar with her and walking over the commotion. He would usually be the type to run away from these kind of situations, but this place was his new home, and he wasn't about to let someone just wash away as she please because she couldn't be considerate. This school and its grounds belonged to everyone and he was about to let her know.
-Oh, its you...I thought you were joining the party, now, not to be rude or anything....but the school grounds belongs to everyone, if you want to train without endangering anyone, I can show you to the danger room and you can train there all you want without anyone bothering you, or you bothering anyone...-
He said, as calmly as he could, but with a tone that made his point come across. He was being polite, but direct.

"I don't get your reference there, but stopping problems is what I'm here for, after all."
As Robbie went off towards the water, Jake was preparing to get into the astral plane in order to try and see if anyone was needing help. Luckily, despite it being a large wave, nobody seemed hurt, or at least nobody was screaming in pain or asking for help. Jake would get into the astral plane soon, but in the meantime everybody seemed fine.
Meanwhile in the water, there was confrontation.
"Danger room is closed, moron. Which is why I come HERE to train and practice. The rude ones are you guys for hogging the entire lake."
"Who the hell is this chick? New girl, shut the hell up before you get washed away."
"A'right everyone, let's just calm it down." Robbie, the only thing close to an authority figure, arrived. "Mellissa, aint no need to be causing all this mess. Been a rough week for everyone, we just tryin' to unwind a bit."
"Yeah? Well you can unwind somewhere else. And take your fire hoe with you!" The girl said as she jetted away very quickly in the water, going along the more shallow area to the right. Her jetting away caused another wave in the general area of where the party was going on, but nothing huge this time luckily.
"Damn it. That girl and her moods.." Robbie shook his head. "Gonna go after her, can't let this one slide now can I?" He said walking towards where she swam off to. It looked like she stayed close to the shallow side, so one would be able to catch her if they stayed close to the lake on land. "You guys keep it up now. I'll be back. Save some BBQ for me!" He said jogging off to chase her.
---
OOC: So Melissa made her scene and has now jetted off farther away in the lake. She didn't go deeper into the lake area, but rather stayed close to the side of the lake where one could go chase after her if they wanted to do so. Ishbel, or Fire hoe as Melissa called her, is now bubbled up more anger as per her temper challenge.
Next Panel Jake will be fully into his astral form, and Sechs was thrown a minor insult his way by Melissa.
The options would be to continue the party, follow Melissa, go home or whatever you'd like to do.

Well, that was annoying. Though, it was true the danger room was close, he did mean what he said. He had his ways about getting places he shouldn't be, but whatever. Might be best this way. He sighed.
-I should have known I'd be wasting my breath...-
He said, shrugging. There was no point in pursuing the girl and he didn't care enough. At glance, there didn't seem to be anyone injured, so he decided to join the music group once more and explained what had happened before asking Bao, if she was still there, if she wanted to keep playing along with him. If not, he would probably just head back and hide in the music room for a couple hours and play the piano.

Ishbel was about to confront Melissa with more than words when Robbie and the others stepped in. Of course, being called a "fire hoe" didn't help matters either. Her hair was certainly aflame, she looked dry even if Melissa had just splashed her out of the lake, and the bracelet was the only thing keeping her powers in check. Who did she think that one was? And who the hell did appoint this bland, well meaning Robbie to be the one setting things right? Oh no, this needed some strong hand. Maybe, just maybe things would be fine if Melissa apologized.
Maybe.
"I'm going with you, she can't risk the well being of the people and just walk away calling me a hoe" Ishbel said to Robbie, seemingly not caring if he wanted her there or not.

Jake moved quickly through the Astral plane equivalent of the lake, searching.
Students had been thrown into the lake, he didn't know how deep the lake was but if any of them couldn't swim...
He started listening with his telepathy.
Not being able to speak sucked, but it came with a few advantages.
He couldn't beat anyone's mental defenses, he wasn't strong enough but if people were projecting, like when they wanted help it made it much easier to hear them. On the Astral Plane, a place that practically was thought, he hoped it would make it easier still.
It was an outside chance that anyone had been injured or couldn't swim. But he would check anyway.

After trying to settle things down, the girl took off and he became a little annoyed at the situation. Rightfully so to any onlookers. So he went back to his group of musicians who were still circled up.
"Friend of yours?" Boa asked, until she noticed Sech's unamused face as the situation. "Nevermind. Shall we continue?" She asked.
"Yo, hey! Just now you told Melissa that you knew how to get inside the Danger Room. Is that true? You know how to get through the pass codes? Because I think some of us who aren't very combat oriented could use some more practice on some stuff.." One of the mutants there said.
"I definitely wouldn't mind getting some more practice in.."
"It certainly would help with some of us to control our powers. Especially if we can actually go all out without worry."
The group was now looking to Sechs in hopes that he meant what he said and wasn't just bluffing to Melissa earlier.
---
Jake
Jake, now in his astral form, went to check on anyone in the lake to see if they were in any danger. Those who couldn't swim would probably be really stupid to go into the lake, but stupider stuff has happened before.. As he went around the lake he noticed that some stronger mutants were already on 'rescue duty.' These were the ones playing around with the football earlier, and they were checking to see if anyone was injured. There were some light injuries, unfortunately, but on the fortunate side light injuries were all that there was.
As Jake was scanning the water, he was listening for any projecting voices needing help. He received none, but did receive something. While scanning the water, he felt something odd. He was looking around with his eyes, but he felt his eyes were moving around of their own will. Like his eyes had their own objective or mindset, and were looking for something. Not just that, but due to his telepathy, he felt a 'presence' with him. It wasn't a telepathic attack, telepathic communications or a telepathic possession. This didn't feel telepathic at all in fact, but something else completely.
After a few blinks, his eyes returned to normal; returned to his control. The phenomenon only lasted around 6 seconds or so, but it was still very weird. When he gained control of his eyes again, he noticed just about everyone was out of the lake now, and was going back to land. However, some were choosing to go back to the lake after a few moments.
Those who had received light injuries were either being tended to, or were walking back to the mansion.
---
Ishbel
"W-wait, I- Ugh...ok..." Robbie didn't argue too much while he was running with Ishbel. "Just try not to lose yer temper? I was informed about your outburts at times, and well, even though them trinkets on your arms take care of it, your mental is still able to run wild. How 'bout we try and talk it calm when we get dere?" Robbie asked as he was running. He was getting out of breath quickly, as he was quite large. Cardio must've not been his strong suit.
While running, Ishbel noticed the edge of the lake coming up. It really wasn't that far off from where they were, just a minute or two long run. As she got closer, she heard yelling.
"n't take it! They drive me nuts!'
There was another voice that couldn't be heard as they were coming up.
"Great. Sounds like she's arguing with someone else now..ugh.." Robbie said trying to catch his breath.
"No! ;asjijepajsfd LEAVING!" The only things that could be heard from their distances was what Melissa was yelling apparently.

Who was Robbie to tell her how to feel? How to act? He had appointed himself as some kind of authority there and he had done nothing to sort out the situation or to stop Melanie. "Don't fucking tell me how to feel, I'll be fine" she barked, tensing her jaw. At least the walk helped to dispel a bit of her edge, but she was still royally pissed off when they started to hear Melissa shouting in the distance. "Someone else could be in trouble" she voiced, hurrying up to where the commotion was. Something felt wrong on the back of her head though, as she felt that something was going on with Melissa. Ishbel did try to reason with her despite being washed away with her antics, she knew first hand in what kind of desperate situation students could arrive to that school, but what little good faith and patience she had managed to gather burned off as Melissa called her names and darted off.
With those conflicted thoughts in mind, Ishbel rushed to the scene, not waiting for Robbie.

As he return to the group, his face must have shown his disdain toward the situation because Bao retracted her words soon after asking the question. But before he could answer about continuing the music session, he was ask about the danger room. He was surprise any of them actually heard him talk about it. Now, he hadn't exactly went into the room, but he did remember the passcode the teacher used to get in. The way there had more security, but he was sure he could get through all that. Probably. He hadn't found a lock so far that had stopped him before. He did though wanted to clarify one thing with them before they got all of their hopes up.
-I do know the passcode, and unless they changed it today, yes I'm fairly confident I can get us in...-
He said, shrugging. Maybe this would also be a good occasion to get more practice in as well. The teachers weren't around and this party had kinda gotten underwater so he felt that his energies might be better off taken somewhere else. He was also curious about the mansion security.

Curiouser and curiouser, thought Jake, looking for rabbit holes or possibly floating cats.
"OK, I mean normally I expect dinner and some flowers first. But I'd settle for an introduction." He protected to the surrounding area.
He wasn't going to freak out. Proper Ozzies didn't freak out, so he was absolutely not going to freak out! Not even a little! Really!

Ishbel
"Heh. Yep. Dere it is.."
"He-....hey! I..I'll uhh...be ri--...right d-..dere.." The larger boy said attempting to catch his breathe.
As Ishbel ran towards the yelling, she started clearly seeing Melissa's figure near the lake, and a young man standing next to her. She was yelling at the boy while the boy remained calm.
"Well they can all piss off! I don't care if I get-.. Oh great, it's YOU again." Melissa turned her yelling from the young man to Ishbel.
"It's Ishbel. Mind yourself sis. Let's just go." The young man turned to Melissa, who he referred to as "sis." They did look related, so no doubt this was her brother.
"Am I SUPPOSED to care who this is? I've only done 2 laps and as I was revving up, they, with their stupid party, got in the way." She barked.
"Sis, really I mean it, let's go.." The boy pleaded. Melissa looked at Ishbel with an angry face. Her eyes begging for Isbhel to speak or initiate something. It was almost like a challenge. Something straight from the animal kingdom. So much emotions being expressed with a single glare. Ignoring her brother's pleas, Melissa just stared at Ishbel.
---
Sechs
"Woah. How'd you wind up getting it?"
"You're really new, but I've noticed you have shifting eyes. You're always looking about." One of the girls said. "Sorry. One of my habits. Noticing patterns in the smallest of places.." She shook her head in quiet embarrassment.
"Yeah, some of our powers aren't really suited for combat. But we're always told that we may need to jump into action some day. Especially if people try to hurt us again for being, well, us."
"That's why we go in an set it to the absolutely lowest setting. It'd probably be just some street goon or something, like some kinda homeless bum. We have to start somewhere."
"Yeah..Sechs, during class today you didn't perform combat training. You instead did the stealth with some of us other ones. I didn't really pay attention to your power. What do you have?"
"And I've been meaning to ask, Boa. Those claws aren't sharp, are they?"
"Hmm. I can make them sharp if I want to, but they hurt me to use. Hurt my fingers. Bad if fingers hurt because I cannot play my instruments."
"Oh I see.."
"So then unless Sechs has any destructive powers, we're all kinda useless ain't we?" The boy asked the group, who went quiet.
---
Looking around for any weird phenomenon, Jake tried to locate the source of whatever had just happened to him, but couldn't locate anything visually that was odd.
"Huh!? Wha-...who said that? Are there ghosts in this lake, man?" A young mutant asked his friend who were both enjoying the lake again. These young mutants were brawny, so more than likely their mutant powers were muscle based as opposed to whatever happened to Jake. Then again, who knew what powersets some mutants had.
In any case, the effect was gone and didn't come back. The Aussie in Jake was curious, but not too disturbed. They were brave, after all.

Listening to them, he could understand how they felt. Feeling powerless in a given situation was never a good feeling and he could relate. Sechs had always been on his own, despite having his leader back him up, but that was not enough to keep him from being a target. He look at them all, then shook his head, trying to be a bit more resolute.
-Let's just say that I am very observant...I come from a place where you need to have eyes all around if you want to survive...gotta be creative too...-
He said to them.
-And...destruction is not always the best answer, neither is it always suited for battle...-
He continued. Somehow, he felt like they needed a little cheering up. Even he had only recently discovered his own power, in a very destructive way that had cause him to be force to leave his own country.
-For exemple...been able to notice small details and pattern can be very useful and could prove to be the thing allowing you or your team victory. It is a strategic advantage to have, can be use to discern battle strategy, weakness, lies, if you know what your looking for, by observing a group of foes, you can discern an opening...if your up against a attacker you could probably be able to predict their next movement by observing their body language...-
He was thinking for a moment.
-Every talent has its purpose...and not one talent is suited for every situation...but by being creative with it, you can make it versatile if that make sense?-
He said, looking at them.
-As for me...I only discovered my powers recently...according to the teacher, I have telekinesis powers which I was trying to use to fly around...didn't work as well as expected...-
He answered. He then turned to the boy who said they were useless, then shook his head.
-Thats where your wrong...none of us is useless, we just have a more specific role to play, thats all, and it is as important as any others...its a question of finding it...-
He had not expected to make a speech here, but then again. This was such a new environment to him and it reminded him of how his own gang leader would speak to them sometimes, giving them some hope that they weren't just a bunch of bums and stuff.

Ishbel reached the spot, leaving Robbie catching his breath, finding Melissa with his brother, or so it seemed by what they said. It registered on Ishbel's mind that Melissa's brother knew who she was, but it got filed in the back of her head to revisit later, as she was fuming with anger and urgency lead her every action. Ishbel would love to punch some sense into Melissa, but even if she was in the verge of it, she was no bully and always or almost always offered plenty of chances to do things right. "Apologize" Ishbel demanded. "Not to me, but to everyone else you endangered" her voice was tense, making obvious she was at her limit. "I don't want to hear any shit excuses. Come back to the party and apologize, have something to drink and relax" she sighed, not wanting to be the civil one but having to. "Tomorrow we all will be better for that and if you want to practice so much I'll help you with. I'm sure that my fire would be a welcomed challenge to your water. Deal?" she asked, thinking of one more thing. "These powers... people can get hurt... even die" Ishbel still looked angry, but also a bit sad. "I know it first hand and... it's not... it's not something you want in your conscience, okay?" she nodded.

Jake frowned and shrugged
He wasn't strong enough to investigate properly. He might ask the professor later, but for now there was drama to deal with. Melissa had been angry, just like her brother. There was something there that needed to be dealt with.
He headed in the direction Melissa had headed, remaining on the astral plane. Ishbel had been confronting the girl and that could go wrong fast.
Hopefully not.
