You want a straight-up one-on-one (or two-on-two, or two-on-one) brawl? Then this is your place to get it set up.
You want to find a partner to fight with? Here too.
Need someone to moderate? Look no further.
Post here if you want to get a one-shot brawl set up. This is the format I'll enstate (just for convenience's sake.)

Okay, you guys, post some info like this then.
Characters You Wish to See Fight: your original characters, two established chars, something different? Location: anyplace you can think of (city streets, the sewer, the Blue Area of the Moon, whatever) Who You're Looking For: (players, moderators, etc.) you two want to fight each other? Just ask for a moderator. Someone might be interested. Any Other Special Mitigating Circumstances: Anything else you'd like to add.
The more you let people know, the more interested they might be in getting involved.

Who would win in a fight between Bagpuss and Scooby Doo? (That is assuming that Bagpuss is awake and Scooby snacks are not available as an incentive.)
...
Yeah, I can see Deadpool getting pay-per-view for that contest.

I've wanted to do an epic "JLA vs. Avengers" brawl, but I need to make acceptable stats for all the League members I'd want in it (and perhaps Namor.)

It probably wouldn't work, because although when the JLA/Avengers crossover took place there was some evidence that the JLA powers were scaled down to fit those of their counterparts (and so Superman found it strangely difficult to beat Thor) normally Superman would wipe the floor with Thor because he is so much more powerful, and likewise the JLA would have little difficulty because they are so highly powered.

Well, I can see Supes having a hard time beating Thor. His defenses are useless against magic, and that's what the old God of Thunder powered by. It'll take that whole "Shazam!" scene in Kingdom Come (homaged in one of my favorite ep's of JLUnlimited) to a whole new level. Batman versus Captain America is still the fight I love to see (since I think, depending on how the wind's blowing/how much time Bruce has to plan) it really could go either way.

i'd love to see Lobo vs Deadpool, it would rock, all the jokes, all the excessive violence, the entire lack of morals.

Frank Castle (Garth Ennis style) vs. Marv (Sin City) would be a nasty, nasty fight.

Frank Castle (Garth Ennis style) vs. Marv (Sin City) would be a nasty, nasty fight. Were that made into a movie, that'd be one of the few X-Rated films to not include any kind of sex. The censors would say "unappropriate for consumption by anyone, or anything." The flyers would say "bring raincoats. The first three rows will get sprayed!"

I will gladly play Frank if someone will play Marv. And after that one, if someone would be willing to play Deathstroke, we could have a Wade Wilson vs. Slade Wilson fight. Hell, that Lobo vs. Deadpool fight is right up my alley, too.

DK23 which JLA guys are you thinking? I would love to write some of them up. Also are we thinking about a scaled down version of the league to fit the Marvel system or a full blown DC level JLA. If the latter is the case I don't think it would be much of a fight. I might be wrong though.
Thor, Hulk, and Iron Man vs. Supes, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman could be a good fight. I just don't see the avengers having good answers for guys like the Flash or Martian Manhunter (although a stray spark gets J'onn in trouble). Batman and Captain America is a good fight. Namor probably kicks the crap out of Aquaman. Scarlet Witch could be a decent wild card.
With this fight though there are some many options (in both universes) that it is hard to think of all of the possibilities.

Ideally, I like the "Big 7" from Morrison's run (Supes, Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Kyle Rayner, J'onn, and Aquaman,) but I do have other favorites, so I could be persuaded to have another incarnation be represented (I do have write-ups of Booster Gold and the Blue Beetle floating around on the boards.) The problem with DC is there are no official write-ups so we kind of have to play it by ear (although I'm proud of the write-ups I've done on Clark, Bruce, and Wally as a start.) It's like a superhero buffet where you can mix-and-match to your heart's content. But, you'd gotta admit, once we figure out the logistics, it'd be one helluva fight.
By the by, totally on a tangent, I'm having the hardest time in the world statting out Wonder Woman, I literally have written in my notes "Strength: somewhere between 10 and 20." I think she could get away with 10, but still. Oy.

I've read some things that say she is second only to Superman in terms of raw strength. maybe 17-20. I have trouble seeing her as stronger than the Hulk though. Are you putting her durability at a 7? if not go lower on hte strength. her close combat has to be through the roof too (6 or 7).
I will work on Martian Manhunter for a while.

Well, I'd love to see a fight between: 1) Venom and Sabertooth; 2) Hulk and Thor; 3) Spider-Man and Captain America; 4) Wolverine and Thing; 5) Magneto and Green Lantern.

Well, I'd love to see a fight between: 1) Venom and Sabertooth; 2) Hulk and Thor; 3) Spider-Man and Captain America; 4) Wolverine and Thing; 5) Magneto and Green Lantern. 1) This one I would like to see, and in fact, would even dare to moderate. My money's on Creed, but Venom's just crazy enough to pull it out in the end. 2) Thor, but he'd had to take off the kid gloves to do it. 3) Spidey can hit first, but Cap can hit harder. I think were both looking to win, Cap would get him. 4) Everyone's favorite Canucklehead's healing factor gives him the edge here. Didn't this one happen in the comics, when Ben started pulling that "Man in the Iron Mask" schitck? 5) Green Lantern.
