Additional Energy: Modifer # + 4
You drank from the Well of Infinity. The spirit of all life suffuses you. You have been touched by the Power Cosmic or the Phoneix Force. Or maybe you just have more drive and potential than would be normally expected. In any case, you regain and hold stones of energy faster than would normally be expected.
You gain your Additional Energy modifier number in energy per Panel, just like normal energy regeneration.
Options
Character gains energy from Intelligence (+1)
Additional Energy counts for 'storage space' as well, holding either the modifier number x1 (+2), x2 (+4) or x3 (+6) bonus stones of energy.
(Example: Joesph has a Durability of 3 and Additional Energy 2, with the holding x2 option. At full health, he has access to (9+4) 13 energy, and regenerates 5 stones of energy each Panel).
Character must be at a specific location to access Additional Energy (-3).
Additional Energy tied to a particular set of circumstances- only in sunlight or darkness, only after feeding, etc. (-1 to -3, GM discretion)
Additional energy is the only source of Energy regeneration (-1 per level of Durability or Intelligence).
Using the additional energy is extremely flashy and obvious (-1).
Comments on the pricing:
At CL+4, you start buying Additional Energy to increase your regeneration rate slightly faster than you can buy Durability to do the same after Durability 3- but Additional Energy provides no additional Health. It's a bit of a trade off in that regard.
Comments on use:
Additional energy is meant as another alternate means of getting energy. It's a little like a baby Phoneix Force. It's also useful for those villians that are tremendously powerful within the confines of their home- and then virtually powerless away from them. It's also useful when combined with an sponge such as Drain Energy.
