This is an idea from a brief mission I just finished GMing. The characters all wake up in some sort of large house, in various locations. There were 7 ghosts that had to be defeated before the house would let them leave. They did not know this at the outset, and only certain characters could see or otherwise detect the ghosts. The house was also filled with various sorts of quirky little deathtraps. It actually worked pretty well. It had kind of a Saw/13 Ghosts/Hostel feel to it. Just design the mission like you would design a dungeon for D&D. Put all kinds of kooky traps in it, but with modern touches. This ended up being just one arc of a much larger mission. So yeah, just another idea.
