Sorry, I was confused about what the . . . you get the idea!! Anyway, I am possibly playing a game where there are people in a super-hero(-ine) team where the whole team is genetically-engineered with X-Factor to cure certain ills. (One girl is blind and going deaf all of a sudden; one guy is quad on the way para on the way to becoming quadrapelegic; one other guy is severely mentally-ill and is going worse every day; one woman has "heart" cancer and will die without genetic-surgery!!) Similair to real-life the public is reacting in often negative ways to this genetic tampering even though it was for the better and people like the Catholic Church (not to pick on them but they are very against genetic research on religious grounds --- again no offense to any Catholics on this board) resent them and their former handicaps. Sorry to bother you with MY game, but I am wondering how according to good rules to give them a Challenge based on the fact that some people resent these "Freaks" (no offense to them) almost as much if not worse than mutants!! Should they get 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 white stones if any?! Thanks in advance for any recommendations!!

Challenge... "Being a Mutant, 3w"... they may also be looking as "Disliked and Shunned by peers, 1-2w" and several other if their conditions caused any previous trauma. I think being a mutant encompases the hatred/jealousy of the human race.

I'd make it a -2 challenge, personally. Being a mutant can be worse, as some technology has been created by many Marvel villains to act specifically against mutants.
