Uncompromising, fanatical, and very likely insane, Rorschach is a mentally fractured masked vigilante feared far and wide. Despite it being outlawed, he continues his one man crusade against criminals with as much ferocity as ever. His utter devotion to his ideals and vocation are such that he's more durable and implacable than even the most prime specimen of normal human endurance. His brain simply shuts off the parts that are of no current use to him, be it pain, extremes of temperature, or psychiatric interrogation.
Nothing is grey with Rorschach. Like his mask, everything is a shifting mass of black and white, never mixing. Mad as he is, Rorschach believes in a higher ideal of justice and retribution, and will never compromise. Even in the face of Armageddon.

NOTE: This CO2 propelled grapple gun was designed for Rorschach by his friend and crimefighting partner Night Owl II, and a launches up to Range 3. Thanks to a powerful miniaturized electric motor, it is self-retracting, and thanks to the technological advances inherent to living in a post-Dr. Manhattan world, can be fired and retracted many dozens of times before needing to be outfitted with a new CO2 canister or battery. If fired at a person, it is a Modifier 1 ranged weapon. It takes two panels to retract from full extension, meaning it would take two-thirds or one-third the time if fired to Range 2 or 1, respectively.
