Taven is from one of the many dimensions the Fey inhabit, Feylynd. It consists of 25 islands all representing a specific time of day and night, there are 12 islands of daytime (Solanri) and 12 islands of night(Nocturni), Each nations capitol rests on the noon(Solinari) and midnight island(Nocturni), the Nocturni were slaves until Taven's great great grandmother set a freedom movement in place, to this day there is massive tension and racism between the two nations, the 25th island is the time held outside of time, this is the Dragon's home. (World inspired by Abarat by Clive Barker)


Taven is an oddity on normal terms and a disgrace among the nobility but needless to say he will be come king. Taven was the product of a night on Earth and a Rave (Daddy was the only one on X). After the birth he was raised just like any royal Fey child would have been. At the age of 6 Taven started Weapons Training under the royal guard, though the firearm was not that popular it was what he excelled in. At the age of 12 his mothers nation of Nocturni went to war with the nation of Solinari and him and his mother went to the rear to hold morality with the troops, Then the war went from bad to worse, and the Solinari held the 10 pm Island and was advancing still, the great magic of the queen was needed and so she went, from there the war stagnated and 6 months later the Solinari were forced to withdraw due to lack of supplies. At the end of the war Taven was 14 and primed for his training in the magical arts. Taven never excelled in the arts of magic but he didn't do bad in them either, the sorceress supreme of the realm was his teacher. From there Taven was to learn culture and was sent to Earth where he fell in love with the realm. His mother being happy at the fact of that he enjoyed his heritage let him stay, giving him the money he needed to live, this drew praise from the court yet it shamed the court even more allowing not only a half human but a human lover to still hold his title, one night walking home from a concert he was mugged unarmed and caught by surprise he fell onto a manhole cover causing his face to sear and sizzle, from there he knew what must be done, he must defend the weak from the strong and abusive. He went back to Fey and retrieve his only friends, Agony, Irony and Rayne, and the rest is history.

Thomas Cassidy was born in Dublin not two blocks away from his aunt and uncle, when he was growing up he played with his cousin on a daily basis, until Tom's father got a job in the states. They all moved to Boston Mass.

When he was about 5 his dad took him to a Red Sox Game and he would have an emmence love for base ball and the Red Sox.

When Tom got older he fell in with the wrong crowd and started doing little B&Es, minor shop lifting, and Bike theft. This is when he found Babe Ruth's Baseball Bat and his life changed after that.

One day Tom was walking to a game and imagined he was hitting for the Sox, when he went to throw up the "ball" an orange ball of energy appeared, Tom didn't notice it when he swung and the ball flew farther then a normal ball when it was hit. It hit a building quite a ways down and busted a hole into it.

With his newly developed power he started a "gang" of Irish immigrants, and they took the name of the old New York gang, The Dead Rabbits.

At the age of 20, Tom had quite the drug ring set up but it wasn't as efficient as it should have been and he made a lot less money too. Magneto saw an enthusiastic young mutant and swooped in offering him a spot in the Brotherhood of Mutants. Black Tom being as power hungry as he was, willingly joined knowing that "homo-sapian" should fear him.
