"Into The Breech" Part 1 "Goddamnit, Frank!"CRASSHH!!The beaten-up Civic plows straight into the mail box, sending letters and camera fragments flying, and just narrowly missing the red-headed reporter and her cameraman. It jostles as it hits the curb, then another 20 feet with two wheels on the sidewalk until... CRAASSSSHHHH!!!The Civic smashes into the giant blue boot of Sentinel Prime, causing it to flip end-over-end. The vehicle describes one and a half rotations before coming to a screeching, skidding stop on its roof. Steam and various fluids ooze from a cracked engine block and the horn blares in one continuous tone. Four dazed goons crawl out of the passenger windows; the driver, pinned by an inflated airbag, struggles to free himself, to no avail. Cease and desist, by order of Sentinel Prime! the giant booms with authority. He wasn't there a moment ago. One of the gangbangers liberates himself from the wreckage, only to stare up.. up.. waaaay up at the caped colossus before him. He closes his eyes and hangs his head in defeat. "Oh forget that," he mutters. His three companions, however, are not quite so quick on the uptake. As soon as they have regained their feet, they lift their weapons and open fire. Three long peels of gunfire spray into the air. Sentinel Prime is struck dozens of times, though each bullet feels like nothing more than a weak punch; bearing the full brunt of the assault causes him no harm. Bullets fly in every direction; many ricochet dangerously off Sentinel Prime's giant body. "F*CKBALLS!" the lovely Heather Mills swears as she keeps her body pinned against the pavement. "I can't believe we're missing all this footage!!" She pulls out a cell phone and tries to angle the camera up towards the action, but a stray bullet shatters it right out of her hand! She is still very much in the line of fire! CRACK!A bolt of lightning seems to fall from the cloudless sky, striking one of the goons. He spasms briefly, then turns stiff, then topples over to the ground. Blackout descends from the sky, momentarily putting himself in danger while he scoops up both reporter and cameraman. His glowing blue body casts an eerie light about him. "Who the hell.." Mills begins, but she her question trails off as Blackout scoops both her and her cameraman up into his arms Showing surprising strength, the hero lifts up into the air again, passengers and all. ====================== Summary: The car of gangbangers has overturned, though 3 of them have escaped and are firing like crazy - mostly at Sentinel Prime. Blackout has successfully pulled Heather and Frank out of the line of fire, and even managed to zap one of the goons (leaving two left who haven't surrendered).

Prime couldn't help but feel a little irritates... CLEARLY these guys didn't know who they were messing with.
Your gunfire can't hurt me, but if you keep shooting long enough, you ARE going to hurt someone else. Besides, using a gun while committing a felony carries more jail time. Now is your one and only chance to cooperate here, fellas.

"Don't worry miss and you either Mr. camera man. I will get you to safety and I promise I will come back for you and drop you off at your respected homes. I still have some lowlifes I need to take care off."
I say as I fly over and drop them off on top of a rooftop with high walls.
"Stay low to the ground. I have to help take out the trash."
I fly back to where that other guy is, as I notice the thugs still standing blue lightning like energy explodes from each of my hands and flies towards the two standing things.

[OOC: Shenron, you aren't spending enough stones in Flight to carry passengers. It should cost 1 for movement, 2 for weight, and 2 more to keep from zapping each passenger you're carrying (5 stones total). I'm sorry for not noticing this sooner! It was actually pointed out to me by another player, har. Anyway, you can leave your previous posts as they are, but from this point on we'll have to be more careful. ^__^]
The stream of bullets only ends when both guns run out of ammunition. When Sentinel Prime calmly points out the futility of picking a fight with him, one of the gunmen decides to make a break for it by sprinting down the street. The one who had been hanging his head in defeat also seizes the opportunity to escape down a narrow alleyway.
The only remaining gunman stands his ground, however, and begins to root around in his pants for an extra clip for his uzi. It isn't bravery - there comes a point where bravery ends and boundless stupidity takes over, after all. As he gazes down at the idiot, Sentinel Prime spots signs of drug abuse. The young man's hands are shaking, his skin is flushed red all over, and his wide eyes are sunken and bloodshot.
"F*CK YOU, MAN!" he shouts back at the gargantuan hero as he finally finds and loads his spare clip. "WHO THE HELL DIED AND MADE YOU-" His tirade is cut short by another bolt of lightning from the sky, and he hits the ground twitching and steaming.
With Heather Mills and her cameraman safe and sound on a rooftop, Blackout is free to give them one more sample of his powers. He takes aim at the goon sprinting down the block and fires a blast. A direct hit! The bolt strikes the man square in the back and brings him down to the pavement, hard.
Meanwhile, the driver has managed to wriggle himself half-way out of the overturned civic. He looks up at the heroes above him and shouts. "Look, I surrender, okay? I give up! Just.. just don't zap me!"

With an approving nod, Prime crossed his arms over his chest. Don't move. The police will want the names of your friends, but if you cooperate, I'll do what I can for you. Seems you may have a problem with drugs, son. We can get you help for that.

As I notice that the other hero as the situation under control, I yell;
"Thank you for the help!"
Then I fly off back to the rooftop to where I dropped off my two passengers.
"Do not be afraid, I know I may not look like much but I am here to help you. Is there anywhere I can drop you off that is away from here?"
I ask them as non threatening as possible.

"What I need is a camera and a time machine that can take me back to two minutes ago!" Heather Mills complains. "That was incredible footage! Ooo, what a waste!" Meanwhile, the cameraman stares slack-jawed at Blackout. Even in Liberation, a glowing blue man isn't something you see every day. "You saved my life, man.. w-what can I say?" He humbly offers Blackout a big, meaty hand to shake. * * * * * Down at street level, the driver pulls a pistol from the waistline of his pants and tosses it aside, eager to surrender to the two heroes. One of the crooks has gotten away, it seems, but three others are down for the count thanks to Blackouts bolts of electricity. That makes four arrests without a single casualty - and another notch in the win column for Sentinel Prime.

Putting a hand on the rooftop, Prime rapidly shed size, shrinking to normal and then pulling himself easily up to the rooftop before moving to stand heroically next to Blackout.
Well done son, well done. I'm afraid I don't know your name. Sentinel Prime was smiling his TV smile, but he was genuinely interested in this other hero; the guy had one-shotted three crooks in a row. It never hurt to have firepower on your side.

"Ah, it was good to have you help as well. My name is...well...I'm known as Blackout. One of these days I will have to show you how I ended up with that name."
"I would like to know your name as well, we seem to make a good team. I hope I am not being rude but do you think you could see the camera man safely home?"
I saw with a wink.

Prime smiled; he was never at a loss for words, and the game of one-upsmanship was not new to him.
Hey, thats an excellent idea. Since their van was probably ruined in that little skirmish, and things might not be safe around the city, I'll just call for a helicopter to get them both safely home. I know, I know... you'd take the young lady home yourself, but the city is in danger. Very noble of you!
Sound good, folks?
He was already dialing his cell phone.

"Alright, that is a better plan, because this City is still going ape shit. Anyway, I think we better get going."
I turn to the young reporter.
"Well if you need someone to interview about this day, I will stop by your office sometime. How does that sound?
