Even though I am against all things pop-culture vampire, it is the beginning of the Halloween season and vampires are the them of the lastest X-books cross-title story arc (which I kind of disdain on pure principle). Anyway, I know Dracula has been a Marvel villain for decades, but I'm familiar with Marvel U vampires abilities. How strong and fast can they get? Do they have the classic vulnerabilities? Stuff like that.

Try out this link for information on vampires. Certainly a variety of depictions there to choose from. marvel.wikia.com/Vampires

To be honest, most of Marvel vampires kinda suck. XD That's why Blade, whom I consider to be a very low-level character, is capable of kicking their butt. Let's just say they're much closer to Buffy the Vampire Slayer's vamps than they are to Vampire: The Masquerade and Anne Rice's tragic Kings of the Night. EDIT: For more details, I'd say +1 Str, Agl and Dur. +1 to Close Combat (Bite), Drain Energy 3 (Must bite to use), Healing Factor, Reflexive Dodge +1, Fangs +1. Can't die permanently unless stabbed through the heart with a wooden stake, head is chopped off, burned to cinders or exposed to the light of the sun, takes 2x damage from Blessed/fire weapons. Needs to drink a certain amount of blood every night or take -1 to one of their Physical Abilities until they drink. This template could be added to base characters and work fairly well IMO. Unless they changed the vamps since I last looked, of course. NOTE: Of course, not all vampires are that weak, just the majority. Some are exceptionally powerful, or maybe their power increase with age, or maybe it's a matter of potential? I don't remember, but I know there are exceptions. Deacon Frost and Dracula were excellent examples of this.
