-This special action may have various effects, determined by the GM. At the very least, however, it allows Yomiko to "learn" certain skills, or actions, about which she reads in a given book. For example, if she reads a book about piloting a F-18 Fighter, she'd retain that knowledge and could use this action to actually pilot a F-18 as if she actually knew how to do so. At any one time, Yomiko may only know 3 such "skills", tops, and must forget the first one if she wants to learn a fourth.

-CPR
Vehicle Operations: 2
-Light vehicles
-Scooter

-Overly polite
-Naive
-Introvert
-Substitute teacher
-Secret Agent
MODIFIERS
Attractive +2
-Could be +3 if she actually cared to pay more attention to how she looks. If she takes some time to groom herself properly, this modifier becomes +3.
Papermaster +2
-Adds to all actions based on/using paper somehow.
Rapid Regeneration
Energy Battery: 4
Deep Reserves: 4
Toughness +1
Reflexive Dodge +4
Mental Defense +3
Speed Reading
-Yomiko reads much faster than any normal human has any right to. She could finish reading a two hundred pages book in less than 10 minutes, and remember it perfectly, word for word.
Photographic Memory
-Only applies to what she reads/sees in books, and also works while speed reading.
No language barrier
-As Translation, Special (by spending at least 4 stones into Intelligence, Yomiko can read even books written in foreign/ancient languages she has never seen/read before, and can therefore learn new languages pretty easily... but the main advantage, as far as she's concerned, is to be able to read almost any book!
Wealth: 1
-Would probably be more, but she spends most of her money on books, books and some more books. On the plus side, she receives HUGE discounts/preferential treatments in book stores and libraries for being their best customer.
CHALLENGES
-Shortsighted (-1; wears glasses.)
-Clumsy (-1; while she is a fearsome opponent in battle and a very skilled operative when she needs to be, Yomiko tends to be pretty clumsy when the situation isn't particularly dire.)
-Severe Bibliomania (-2; while she has gotten slightly more reasonable in time and now can pay attention to things other than books for more than five minutes, she still is pretty obsessed with them, and still buys many more than your average local library. Also, she does almost anything she can to get her hands on rare ones.)
-Poor luck (-2; Yomiko has rather poor luck. She hardly ever wins anything in the lottery, her alarm clock will fail her when she needs to wake up early, she'll put her quarter in the coffee machine, realize it's broken, and the machine won't give the quarter back. Of course, she's not always this unlucky, but those things happen to her much more often than to anyone else.)
-Obsession (-1; wear her glasses. They were apparently Donnie Nakajima's, her mentor and first love interest, and she never wants to take them off, even when she sleeps. In fact, she is seriously pissed off when people touch them without her permission.)
-Extremely kind-natured (-2; Yomiko has trouble seeing even her enemies as bad people. Most of the time, she sees good in everybody, and tends to adopt defensive/incapacitation tactics while engaged in battle, only wounding and killing when there is no alternative. However, she's also very emotive and passionnate, and if pissed off sufficiently, she can become extremely destructive.)
-Haunted past (-2; Donnie Nakajima's death at her hands, and the Joker's betrayal... and subsequent destruction of the Royal British Library.)
EQUIPMENT
-British Library Uniform, and long brown coat
-Black, square-rimmed glasses
-Cellphone
-A few pencils and pen
-Usually carries at least one book with her

STORY: Yomiko Readman, also known as "The Paper" or "Agent Paper", was the Royal British Library's Special Operations Division's top secret agent. Indeed, Yomiko learned everything she knew from Donnie Nakajima, her mentor (with whom she was deeply in love). Unfortunately, when Donnie failed a mission for the Library, he was falsely accused of betrayal by the Division's leader, a man known as the Joker, who then used Donnie as a card to trigger Yomiko's potential. She involuntarily killed her mentor pretty much at the same time she discovered her powers as the British Library's 19th Papermaster in history.
Wearing her late mentor's glasses as a memento, Yomiko perfected her skills as an operative of the Library and a Papermaster, accomplishing dozens of missions for the agency, fully unaware of the role the Joker played in Donnie's death. She recovered dozens of rare books, fought various enemies, and eventually proved to be the greatest Papermaster the British Library had ever seen.
Eventually, she becomes entangled in a complex conflict between the Library and various of her foes involving the famed "Book of Truth", during which the Joker revealed his treachery and that he wanted the book not for the Library, but for himself. Yomiko fought him and managed to foil his plans, destroying the British Library in the process, but she was believed to have died in the battle... or at least to be missing in action.
In truth, she survived, and left her former life behind to be a substitute teacher for real and not as a mere cover, as well as a part time hero once in a while. Of course, with her luck, it was unlikely that this time of peace would last for long...
