So, after giving the gift of KotOR (Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic) to some people last year, I decided that I'd offer to give it to people around these boards if I ever again noticed Steam offering a really great deal on it. Anyhow, that day has finally come again. It seems that for the next 19 hours or so, they're offering it for only $2.50. So, It's time for me to ask who here wants KotOR, probably the best computer game I've ever played?! I'll gladly gift it to a handful of people who provide me with the necessary information (all I'd need is an e-mail address) while it's still on sale. I just want to share this awesome game with some of you guys. Oh, also, make sure you read the System Requirements for it first. I'd hate to send you a gift only to hear that your computer can't run it. (That happened last year and it was irritating enough then.) System Requirements OS: Windows XP and Windows Vista Processor: Intel Pentium 3 1Ghz or AMD Athlon 1GHz Memory: 256 RAM Graphics: 32 MB with Hardware T&L DirectX®: Directx 9.0b or better Hard Drive: 3.5 GB Sound: Directx 9.0b compatible I'm completely serious about this. Since it's cheap (for now) I'll buy KotOR for some of you guys. (Granted, you'll still need Steam to make it work, but that's free... so yeah.) So, any takers? Any Questions?

I already own this through Steam, but I have to say. You rule. This is very kind of you. I am planning a contest-giveaway for Fredom Force myself.

Why... oh why... is my real computer broken right now??? I was just thinking the other day "man, I'd love to play KotOR again!"

Just telling me that it's up for 2.50 is plenty gift enough! I'll have to order it. ^__^
EDIT: Kai, in case it needs to be said, you are an incredibly cool guy right now.

WK, I could buy it for you now, and then you could just let it sit in your inbox until your computer gets fixed. Heck, I could even re-send it if you lost the e-mail.

For some reason it doesn't seem to run on Vista Ultimate x64. Both my home computer, and a friends computer have crash-outs every five minutes or so. It's quite frustrating! Same disks on my XP laptop with MUCH lower specs runs it like a champ.

That's pretty cool of you to offer Amigo. I wish I had the time to dedicate to play. KOTOR and KOTOR 2 are in my top ten games of all times. If I wasn't so wrapped on in college I would totally play.

E-mailed it to you, Thuellai. I couldn't figure out how to friend you on Steam to add it directly to your account.

Thanks, got it all added and installing. Is your Steam ID the same as your username here?

Aww, www.systemrequirementslab.com said my video card isn't good enough! Damn! Oh well, I've played it before, I just loved it. One of the few roleplaying games that really netted me into caring about the characters and the story. For anyone reading this thread who HASN'T played it, I highly recommend it! Thanks for being an exceptional guy Kaimont!

Huh. I'm kinda surprised more people haven't taken me up on this. I was expecting that after gifting KotOR to several people, I'd say "sorry guys, but I've already spent $20 giving gifts to people I don't really know." That's hardly been the case.
The sale ends in a little over an hour (which doesn't seem right, I thought there should still be 6 hours or so, but whatever... We all know I'm bad at math, right?), and the only person I've gifted it to so far is Thuellai, whom I already knew a little.

Er, maybe I will take you up on the offer, Kai. ^__^ I forgot to put in my order last night and I left my wallet at home. lol
But you have to think of a way for me to do you a favour sometime!
