I finally graduate in the spring from college for my associates. I actually had a 3 year hiatus in my college degree due to working, and women and stuff. It’s been fun, but after the next semester it’s time for the next chapter in my life. Which honestly scares the sh*t out of me because I’ve burned most of my bridges over the years because my life was going nowhere it seemed, and I wasn’t happy. Now I pretty much have to move forward, and I’m checking out all my options. Finally, life is getting exciting again, and it feels like I finally have a reason to do something.
During my three year hiatus from college I went through allot of bad relationships, dead end jobs, and lived life. Then somehow after all that I ended up back in school and now I’m graduating. The big question is where do I go from here?
I picked a field in computer systems and information, Network Administration, and I’ve found out something about actually getting hired on as a Network Administrator. Most job offers require four or more years experience working on the job. That was a nice statistic I should have looked up before picking a major, but the story of my life is moving on regardless of the problems that come my way.
The next thing I’m looking at is the Airforce. I’ve been in the military before, but not I have enough college hours to become and officer. I already meet all the physical specs to get through the training, and I could work in my field I’ve studied for, and get paid pretty decent. I would also be able to further my education, and get paid even more money. I could also potentially retire from that, and work for another company long enough to retire from that and draw a couple of retirement checks when I get old.
I have nieces and nephews, but no actual kids of my own that I know about. My last girlfriend dumped me because I was taking five classes and having to constantly study, before that it was because I worked too much. So, I’m running out of reasons to stay put in this god forsaken jobless region.
Anyways, here’s to new years and new beginnings.

Happy New Year!
F-bomb: Stick with IT. I've enjoyed my 13 years in the computer industry! (And it sure beats being shot at from high altitudes.)
As for new years resolutions, perhaps mine should be to finally meet the elusive Rushlock. We both live in Georgia, so stranger things could happen.

Well, let's see, my New Year's Resolutions...
1. Read all the books I've gotten as gifts. (That'll take a while.) 2. Bag my purchases in re-usable bags, instead of those cheap plastic ones that accumulate in my basement. 3. Maintain a database of my video games. 4. Age another year.
Oh, and of course, organize all my role-playing books, house rules, movies, and other assorted crap... That's probably not going to happen. Also, I should probably apply for college, except that I can't really afford college right now...

Happy New Years
As for new years resolutions... I'm not big on those, but I guess mine is to lose more weight. I'm not doing bad so far, so let's see how far I can take it

Happy New Year, everyone! Happy 2011!
Among my many resolutions:
- learn to sew - learn to crochet amigurumi so that I can make toys for my niece and nephew, and maybe the cat - do a couch to 5k running program again and stick to it this time (I suffered an injury last time - my best friend is making me get a note from my doctor saying it's okay or she will kick my ass); if possible, get to 10k and do a race - do the 100 pushup challenge again (I got stuck at ~60, again, due to the same injury) - dress up for hallowe'en, since it's been too long - keep in better touch with my family/take more pictures with my new camera - help my best friend to train her cat so that we can take him to visit people at the hospital - keep studying Japanese in my spare time and hopefully take my JLPT level 5 test before the end of the year
There may be more, but that's the bulk of it. I think they're all pretty doable.
Best luck to all of you in 2011!!

Alls I have to say if 2011 year was anything like last night it's going to be epic! Me and my peeps partied till the lights came on, and somehow I don't even have a hangover today. I also hooked up with some chick last night, and that's always fun. I also got to do a couple of things I've never done before. I asked a stripper for change, and I actually one something out of the claw machine at the club, and gave it to a chick while she was dancing. It's the first time I've ever done anything out of a claw machine. It's not good to brag on yourself, but that made me look pretty cool. I also didn't drunk dial any ex's. 2010 had its ups and downs, but at least it end on a high note. A couple of more of my friends are moving out of state soon, and after college I'm moving wherever I can get a job. It’s all okay though. I feel like I’m kind of getting a fresh start, and getting a renewal with my life. I’m looking forward to the future, and not dreading it. My resolution is to stop by here once every 48 hours minimum. You guys have done amazingly keeping the forum alive! We have allot of cool people here. It’s safe to say the MURPG board is here to say. If only we could spruce it up a little bit in the future. You know like super hero maps with “mini’s” we can move around during gameplay, and all that fun stuff via the internet. Happy New Year! F-bomb: Stick with IT. I've enjoyed my 13 years in the computer industry! (And it sure beats being shot at from high altitudes.) As for new years resolutions, perhaps mine should be to finally meet the elusive Rushlock. We both live in Georgia, so stranger things could happen. The last time I was in Georgia I was in Ft. Benning, but I’m not anxious to go back. I liked Atlanta allot better, but if I’m ever in the area I’m most likely going to be in a club or something. Happy New Years As for new years resolutions... I'm not big on those, but I guess mine is to lose more weight. I'm not doing bad so far, so let's see how far I can take it Some people chronically fail their new years resolutions, and if it applies to you just set your goal to gain more weight. You’ll drop 20 lbs in the first three months. keep studying Japanese in my spare time and hopefully take my JLPT level 5 test before the end of the year ~TWF Oriental language is way different from any European languages. They even write up and down from right to left. Right now I’m still trying to study French, Italian, Russian, and German. Russian, German, and English have common roots, as to Spanish French and Italian. There’s more thinks I want to see in Europe than Japan, but good luck with it.

Yeah I'm down in Valdosta GA, about 15 mins from FL. It's the last real stop on I-75 before you hit FL. We're looking at opening a game store here this coming year, so when that happens I'll love to have some MURPG'ers stop in sometime

I may even buy something!

You go, girl! I know you can do it! ^_^ If you need some help, I'll be honored to give you a hand, as long as it's not about either mathematics or the Spanish language (no offense to Spaniards out here, it's just that I don't like the Spanish language course in our school).
