I wonder how many seasons it'll run. Most non Superman TV super hero shows don't made it to the hundred episode mark.

I agree with two tops. Especially in todays market.
I was sort of surprised the latest incarnation of Stargate, and the BSG spinoff Caprica have both been cancelled already.

Judging by how it's progressed (Cape getting tired of the Mystery that is Orwell, his wife getting reason to believe he really was framed) this fast, I seriously doubt it's going to get passed Season 1, and that's assuming ratings are high enough to get a second season. It just seemed that the third episode was already half-way through the main plot of the show.

How much of this is online? I may as well use my bed-ridden time to watch it!

Just started episode 2 and I really like it so far.
Also it's good to see that Summer Glau aged well; the last thing I saw her in was Serenity and she just had this awful awkwardness about her, and not because she was River.

I think she's still really weird looking

Well yeah, but I think now it kind of works for her more than it did then.
Also this show proves why children should never be allowed to act.

So I finished the three episodes and I definitely liked it, but I can't stop but wonder why those circus guys would suddenly stop being criminals all of a sudden. I know they've got a boat load of money, but now they just seem like the nicest people ever.

I think that, as slim said a few pages back, this show is not afraid to go all Silver Age on us. Including the fact that the heroes allies, even though initially described as criminals, tend to be "good guys" by default.
There was an odd moment of disconnect for me in Ep3, however. Max was talking about how he wanted the Kozmo Cape to be used for noble purposes, which is all well and good... except that he basically blackmailed the hero guy into helping them steal millions before he would train him to use the Cape. Strikes me as an odd way to find someone of noble purpose.

Well, to be fair, Vince gave him the card before the cape was even known about.

It occurs to me that the Cape – with its love of rather dated Silver Age storytelling set in the modern day – would be better if it were a comedy.
Things like the Cape’s moral dissidence in relation to the Circus, the Cape’s insistence that a hood is sufficient to protect his identity, and the “mystery” surrounding Oracle, er, Orwell (Hint: she’s Chess’ daughter) all fail completely as drama but those same elements make very fertile ground for comedy.

He made a mask by ep 3 =P And yeah it seems pretty telegraphed about Orwell being Chess's kid. Maybe too obvious and they'll swerve on us for some bad tv?

He made a mask by ep 3 =P He had a mask in that one episode where he wasn’t using the cape. I haven’t seen it since. All it takes is a strong enough wind to blow his hood down and his secret is out and his family is dead. Actually, considering his “powers” and fighting style are primarily cape-based, a stiff breeze is pretty much the worst thing that could happen to this guy.
