has anyone else been watching this show? It's about a super hero, but he's more street level like, and nobodies actually had super powers so far. Hulu has the first two episodes. I haven't noticed anyone talking abotu this on here yet, thought I'd share.

We discussed the trailer at some point, but I don't think we've talked about it since it aired. Is it any good?

I watched the premier last night, and enjoyed it. It was a little tacky, and predictable... BUT a lot of good shows have started off on similar levels (notably SG1) and found warm/fuzzy places in my heart over time.
I did enjoy the gritty-street-level spin on heroics. It's nice to see a hero get his @ss whooped every once in awhile, and then LEARN from his mistakes. Reminds me a lot of the early batman mythos.
I'll give it a shot on Monday nights. I already watch a show that night (I'm picky about my LIVE television watching)... so it'd just be another hour of my time until I make a decision of Yay or Nay.

I watched the first episode (half of last night’s “movie”) on hulu today.
On the one hand, I’ve always liked the idea of someone using stage magic to pretend to have superpowers.
On the other hand, this is a terrible show and a glorious waste of the actors involved.

I liked it. I liked the Noir style series as opposed to the super powered series. I also thought the circus act as a super hero was cool. the ICP ruined most thing circus for me, but I do enjoy watching the circus some times. the highwire, and the trampease is always fun, as well as the escape artist thing.
I mean, some parts were a little slow, but after setting through four seasons of Heroes I'm not going to complain. It's just something I'm probably going to watch some times if I have free time. There's not allot of new shows I watch these days.

I watched the premier, and while watching it I thought I recognized the plot from somewhere. Then today, while taking a shower, I realized where its from. The premiers plot is 95% like Batman Begins. That made me very mad. Luckily I'm willing to give it another chance.

I watched about 20 minutes of it and decided that was enough. Thumbs down from me.

I watched "Pilot" and "Tarot" late night. After two hours of watching I'll watch next week's episode. It does has it's corny parts and it's a bit predictable at times. Though, after three decades of comics and movies most everything is that way. I am interested in Summer Glau's character. She has a very Oracle feel about her right now. Minus the wheelchair of course. Summer played River Tam in Joss Whedon's Firefly series and I'm not sure if I'm carrying over interest from that series to The Cape. I'll wait and see. Chess is an interesting mastermind villain, and the Tarot cult thing sounds promising. It was nice to see a bad guy, Cain, using exotic poisons to kill. Instead of just gunning the target down street gang style. Over all I enjoyed my time watching The Cape, and I feel like giving it a chance.

Also, I don’t ever want to see anyone complain about Marvel’s Circus of Crime ever again. At least the Ringmaster’s crew has the sense to commit (theoretically) undetectable crimes and leave town before people know what happened. The Weight Guessing Guy’s gang (who takes orders from the Weight Guessing Guy? Was the Bearded Lady busy?) pulls bank robberies in broad daylight (while showboating like, well, circus performers) and sticks around town for weeks afterward.
I don’t know why the Cape is so worried about Chess creating his own personal army when his current batch of minions can’t even find these idiots.

I really liked the concept but I hated the execution. I don't think I'll be watching it again.

I have only watched the pilot so so far and I enjoyed it. It sucks that it airs when I work but I will just have to stream it.
I have always loved the idea of using stage magic to fight crime. Yes it can be a little corny or a tad predictable at times, but I have enjoyed it and I hope it sticks around.
It is on NBC so we don't have to worry about it like when new things start on Fox.
I do miss the Terminator Series.

I'm liking it so far, will be interesting to see if they can properly balance the corny and the dark themes they're displaying so far.

If you're digging too deep into the what's and why's and background logic of the show, you're doing it wrong. This show is delicious, undiluted silver age cheese and I love every second of it.
