OK, I know I haven't posted on this in a while but I've been busy and doing research, I should be getting the Complete Season 1 MX box set today or tommorow, so I'm almost ready to get serous. Anyways in Mutant X there are 4 types of Mutants. Elemental Feral Molecular Telepathic
Elemental's seem to be limited to one element only, and and Telepathic people seem to be far less powerful that your standard comic charecters. Instead of having a bunch of different abilities they seem to have 1 or 2. Like Emma's Empath. She also uses Mental Bolts. She seems to not be able to read minds

We’ve seen allot of cool people in Mutant X, and allot of really crappy people. In Season 3’s case allot of crappy story lines. Ok guys you can be thankful that I’m only working with Season 1 at the moment. In my opinion it was the best of the Series. However in order to have a proper Mutant X campaign there are a few things you need to know.
Ÿ There are different kinds of feral mutants Feline- Cat, Jaguar, Cheetah Ursine- Bare Canine- Dog, Corvine- Deer, Caribou etc Reptilian- Snakes, Lizards, you know the drill Rodents- Squirrels, Rats, Possums (we have rodents everywhere) Amphibian- Frog, Salamander,
We all know there are allot of animal types so I’m not goings to go on naming things off. Just remember the animal you choose to be like will effect what powers you have, and what stats you will have. Obviously Felines will have Enhanced Agility and Speed, Ursine be stronger and tougher, Amphibious will have big tongues, if you have any questions about anything like this look online at National Geographic. They know more about animals than I do.3
Ÿ Elementals, I think I’ve read are the most common mutants, only are allowed one element. I know it blows but I’ve never once on the show seen anyone with gifts of both elements. Mastery of elements is pretty much not a thing here. From what I’ve watched they only have force blast. I think that’s boring though. So I think allowing them to be immune to there element is cool, I have seen plenty mutants hurt by there powers though. Brennen have fried himself before. I think as he mutates further he will be able to absorb lightning or at least be immune to it. Ÿ Molecular mutants can have more than one Molecular power. Joy, I know what your thinking but I’ve seen allot of different molecular mutants do different things. Like Jessie’s phase shift, and his Massing power (which I think should cost more than Phase shift because he’s immune to most physical damage when he does it (not to mention he can attack while doing it), and should work like phase shift and ware off one red stone per panel.) more example’s of Molecule’s are. Stretching (Rare) Phase Shift Invisibility Imperviousness Multiplying (Rare) Flight or levitating (I never seen anyone flight on the show) Alter Time (Rare, I recommend RPC’s only, I only remember 1 or 2 times seeing anyone have this power) Accelerated Speed ( I’m really not sure what the speed limit is.) Shape Shifting (I’ve only seen one, and he died) Extremely Rare ( I think Shrinking may be ok here, but I’m not so sure about Growing.) Ÿ Psionics, The important thing to remember about psionic’s is that on Mutant X there where valuable but not nearly as powerful as Professor X or Jean Grey by any means. From what I can tell they where only allowed on power like Telepathy, Telekinesis, Empathy, or any other one. I have seen both telepaths and empath’s use metnal bolts. I know you probably know them by heart by know but I’m listing them anyway.
Telepathy Empathy Illusion Telekinetic Precog (tells the future) RARE Psychometric (can read objects past by touching them, remember The Crow used this) Telecyber (can interface with computers) Astral Projection (rare)
May buy Animal Senses (just put the name down as Psychic sense)
I’ve seen telepath’s and empath’s create links with others, I can see letting them have mental bots, allowing there psychic abilities to heighten there senses, or even be added to close combat, but it all comes with a price. Use your own judgment when letting someone chose this ability. Any fan of the show would know when to draw the line with this power.
Ÿ I’ve created abilities and options for this, and I’ve even restricted some things (sorry, but the mutants here are weaker). Here are a few, any request for power types just pm me and I’ll see what I can do.
Imperviousness AN+5 cost levels- Your character can changed in to a impenetrable mass. Durability is equal to you’re AN and it ware’s of 1 red stone per panel. You may attack others while using it this power cannot extend to other’s. You can jump in front of a bullet for someone though. I know this is expensive but look at what it does. Physical invulnerability and you can attack while using it.
Options -You mat add 2 cost levels for it to boost your strength to Maximum of 4. ( I know 4 sounds low but I’m still getting to that just be patient. -You can add 2 levels to phase shift in order to phase objects. New Options for Psionics/ (Telepathy) -Add 2 levels to be ably to add stones from your power to close or ranged combat
Ok I didn’t have to make up that much for it Ÿ Before you can have a proper portrayal campaign based off the show there are a few things you need to know. - All character’s start out with a 25 stone Maximum, 3 stones for being a mutant, and 2 more for other challenges of there choosing (I‘ll have to run the campaign a little before I make up my mind for sure). Remember you don’t have to be a mutant. There are plenty of humans on the show. - No Stat’s Except Speed, or Intelligence can go above 4. - Feral’s can Raise Strength, Agility, Speed, and Durability to 4 depending on what kind of animal they are. Just think about it Cheetah’s are fast Bear’s are strong, ETC. - Reflexive Dodge and Toughness are common in but not exclusive to Feral’s, and the action number for it is low, I’d say the maximum would be 2 or 3. I’ve not seen anyone as Agile as Spider-Man, or as tough as Thing. So if that don’t stop you the insane cost for these modifiers in combination of the 25 stone limit will. - Intelligence can be raised to 5 - I’m not sure on what the restriction on how much you can lift with telekinesis, or how fast a mutant with accelerated speed can go, naturally someone with accelerated speed would be allowed to purchase a durability of 4. -I got allot of my information from the Mutant X web side mutantx.com, there and from allot of the related sites listed there, like Geonomex.com etc. - Emma (played as Lauren Lee Smith) looked better with red hair than she did with brown hair. Anyways know that we have the rule’s out of the way I’m going to give you some info on the campaign itself. I want to run two separate campaigns, one using Mutant X, and another using other original Mutants, and even maybe a few mutants from Mutant X episodes that where cool, naturally if they die on the show they won’t appear in the alternate campaign after that episode takes place. My goal is to have another team with a few familiar faces every know and then and after the end of Season 3, where the show ended, tie both of the story lines together. If anyone is willing to help GM, or has a couple of cool idea’s that they want to play out PM me. I’ll start coming out with the season 1 missions soon. I want players for Mutant X. I got dibs on Ashlock. (he dies later anyway.) I mainly need someone to help with the alternate campaign. I’m not sure how long it is before the Season 2, and Season 3 box set is coming out, but I should be able to use the episode synopsis to remake those episode’s assuming this campaign last that long. I’m willing to GM when I can as long as other’s are willing to play.

I have a post there too, it's not getting any feedback either, but 25 stones is consitant with the Mutant X Universe. The mutants there arn't nearly as powerfull as the ones in the Marvelverse
