So, it is natural to feel as though you are watching a James Bond movie while seeing First Class?

Yea, it cant be a reboot in the trailler there are scenes from the first moive professor x in cerebro ... the scene where magneto, toad w/cyclops googles, and sabertooth walk out into a police blockade from the subway. Also, the moive's premise of mutants trying not to be feared by single handedly stopping the entire missle crisis in a whopping crack squad team of 8? GENIUS! who could not fear these demigods... Why would marvel for the first time ever decide to change world events... Why not take it steps farther and stop world war 2 as just magneto/professor x as 8 year olds? commanding armys and ripping apart tanks for social acceptance. Or stop the twin towers from going down, or kill bin laden via mass mind rape... Why disney why T_T...

Yeah, but Fox owns the rights to produce X-Men movies. Just like Sony has the rights to the Spider-Man movie.

Disney doesn't have the movie rights to the X-Men yet, as silentking has said. I think we have a few more years. I actually can't wait for Disney to get complete rights. Course it may not make any difference in the long run.

I think I'm going to go see this because I have friends who want to, but I'll be going in with low expectations. I can tell already that they've made a lot of changes to the characters for no reason other than because they can, and that just bothers me.

Actually, I've been watching some of the character intro trailers, and they don't seem so bad...I especially liked the one with young Xavier and awkwardly nude 10-year-old Mystique.

Also; did you just imply that there is kiddy porn in this movie?

dai.ly/jJg1wCCouldn't find it on Youtube. The teaser is pretty cool, but, ahem...and apologies for the annoying commercials. ;D

Apparently Hugh Jackman makes a cameo in the flick..."small and lighthearted," supposedly, so maybe not as Wolvie?

I'm sure he'll be Wolverine, since Origins already established that Wolvie was an adult by that point...
When does this license with Fox run out? Maybe Marvel can reboot the whole thing and make the movies not suck.
