All of this is truly intriguing, a DC or Crossover game would be amazing.
Just to put my two cents in, I kind of lean towards Paul's opinions on all of this. If you stick strictly to the MURPG book, your game will fail when you're trying to construct cosmic level characters like Superman, Thanos, Darkseid, Green Lantern, Gladiator etc.
In the end, you have to settle for balance the best you can. It is entirely possible to compromise for the sake of having Martian Manhunter and Galactus appear in your game. As the GM, you can make anything happen, regardless of whether or not Superman has a nice, clean, official character sheet.
I guess what I'm trying to say is
SOMEONE PUT THE THEORIES TO WORK!
Meets have been pondering on doing a DC or Crossover game. Vassago, why don't you collaborate with Paul and try to work out some character stats? If you guys were to work together, we'd have a really awesome game that no one else has tried. Maybe throw Sphynx in there for his shit-hot expertise and run an unorthodox, world sharing adventure instead of, well, not getting along?
I'm just enthusiastic about seeing Bane battle Thing, so I'm not trying to look haughty or anything-you guys know a hell of alot more about all this than me, as far as numbers go for sure. There's already a writeup for Thanos in the Overmen game, who's to say you couldn't do more of the same if you collaborated?
Lordzack, I like your writeups.
