There is no addiction challenge in the books. I know, I checked. It is either in the 2.0 rules or in the Spidey fan made one. Definetly the 2.0 rules.

It's in there. Just take a minor or major condition, depending on how severe the addiction is.

There is a minor psychological disadvantage that my rp group has always used for things like smoking and what not...

I will check the spidey book. There is a challenge where a power is addictive and gives you negatives as you use it or dont use it. I will check into it and let you know the exact reference I find.

Addiction (3w-4w)
You are addicted to a specific substance, element, or item. For each day that passes without it, you take a cumulative negative Situational Modifier of +1 to your Actions. (Maximum penalty is +3.) If the element is rare or obscure, there is less of a refund.

I feel like the element being rare or obscure should create more of a refund, since it'd be harder to come by. A caffein addiction is easy to feed because you can get something caffeinated pretty much everywhere and can, easily and legally, carry Penguin Mints or the like around with you.

I think it is a typo Ushi. It should be more. I like this for characters like aquaman who need to be around water... or a character who is addicted to the rush of their power (like a power cosmic guy)...

Shouldn't something Like Aquaman just have the disadvantage that is "weaker away from element" or whatever it says?

Should or Could? It can be different for different people. I have seen aqua-man portrayed as losing normal human abilities after being 'dried out'. It all depends on your character concept.
