I'm new to playing on-line and I've spent the past few hours reading around and its still a little odd. Is there a concise list of etiquette or house rules to be used. I'm not even sure how to approach a group to play. I guess what Im asking is how do I get started?

I'm new to playing on-line and I've spent the past few hours reading around and its still a little odd. Sigh, tens of stickies and people are still confused. Something it seriously wrong with our system. Rule nr1: Dont be a douchebag. There are no more universal rules. Each game has house rules of its own, you'll know when you see them. Just like in a kindergarden, when you're the new kid and everyone is playing and you wanna join: go and ask if you can play. No, really, Im serious! The worst you'll get is a "no" and a reason why. Second option- look at new threads on General Online RP Discussion, specifically "Games now accepting new players". You'll find more instructions there.[/quote] By asking out loud and hoping for answers Well, you took the first step, so congratz.

Unfortunately you came at a bad time. I guess because summer is on its way there are few people on and it is difficult to keep even an established game going.

I've always really liked the game but its very hard to get my DND friends to play anyother game especaly when you say diceless they tend to run in terror at the prospect. This means that I will probably keep coming back even if its slow right now. so I guess thanks for the advice.
