Yeah, my kid came running out of his room earlier today, very excited because they were making new episodes of "that old show Thundercats"
I'm happy any time my kids and I can enjoy something together. For those that don't know, there's a new Voltron show on currently, I actually like it.

I don't even have kids and I feel old. Ninja Turtles, GI Joe, and Transformers all have new incarnations. When's Martial Bravestar making his comeback?

Thunder Cats was awesome. I pissed that they are still offering the original series on DVD but each season is split up into two collections for about 50 bucks a piece. What a rip..
Do you know what channel the new series is going to be on? Oh and new Voltron show? That us awesome.
Random memory just popped into my head. I dated a girl back in the day who was a huge anime/old school buff and she had a tattoo of the Thunder Cats symbol on her inner thigh. It gave a while new meaning to Thundercats HOOOOO!!!

Well, I wish they'd repeat episode 2 already. Some nucklehead nixed my dvr during episode 2 of Thundercats, Wolverine, and Iron Man. The latter two have repeated already, but I still can't start T-Cats...

Watched the pilot, and found it a bit dull but the artwork is top notch. They look to have made Lion-O younger for the kids but whether it'll catch on to see lines of toys in the shops (which is where the money is - Ben 10 etc) I wouldn't think so. Cheetara is still hot, mind, so some things never change

Actually, Lion-O is technically older.
I'm not sure how many people remember this, but in the original series, Lion-O was a child in an adult body. He was roughly the same age as Wily Kit and Wily Kat. Something went wrong with his suspended animation chamber, and his body aged in transit.

I remember blueberry ice cream (the icecream), thundercats, silverhawks, tigersharks, martial bravestar, gi joe, transformers, van halen, and that a room can get really cold on a summer night with a fan in a window in the summer time. The 1980's were good to me as a kid:)

Silverhawks was great, I had the entire toy line, sans vehicles (for whatever reason, my parents would rather spend $20 in four figures than one vehicle)

Yeah, they were cool. I had two silverhawk toys, and I got them for chistmas one year. They were Copper Kid, and Quicksilver. I always wanted the giant sized telehawk, but I don't think I ever even seen him in stores. I kind of wish sometimes I could go to the walmart in the 1980's and raid the toy isle. It's very true that you can get most of it on ebay, but it's not the same.
I know how it feels to have a decent toyline without the vehicles too. I used to think that a gi joe deep with projectile mistles were just awesome, lol.
