Lots of interesting projects in development for tv at Marvel were announced at Comic Con today, some I'd heard about, including The Hulk being done my Guillermo del Toro, but some of this is new to me: We have already heard some info regarding the upcoming Marvel TV projects, but now Marvel's Head of Television Jeph Loeb, shared some brand new details at San Diego Comic Con for Hulk, Cloak and Dagger and Jessica Jones series that will feature Luke Cage and Carol Danvers!
Thanks to Comic Book Resources for the info below:
The first show concept is "aka Jessica Jones" at ABC, based on Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos' "Alias," which Loeb described as a story about "a failed superhero." "We obviously can't call it 'Alias,' thank you JJ Abrams." Loeb said the show would feature Carol Danvers and Luke Cage.
"Hulk" was the next project announced, "a brand new take on the character" set in his early years, "before everyone knew his secret," and focused on the love story between Banner and Betty Ross.
"Cloak and Dagger" for ABC Family was announced next, a story about "two teenagers who discover each other and find their powers both complement and complicate their lives." The series will be set in post-Katrina New Orleans, prompting a fan near the front to gasp, "Holy Shit!" "You can come to every panel," Loeb said.
"Mockingbird" is also in development for ABC Family, depicting Bobby Morse as "a Peter Parker Nerd" who is recruited to a secret organization.

ABC "Family" has two shows with a lot of different names. They are as follows...
1) Teenage daughter has sex and experiments with drugs, parents lovingly tell them that they're their own person and they're proud of the adult choices they've made.
and
2) Teenage son has sex and experiments with drugs, parents lovingly tell them that they're their own person and they're proud of the adult choices they've made.

Weird, I've only ever seen the first scenario on ABC Family. Which means I've watched exactly one program on ABC family...ever.

I thought this was a funny bit from Comic Con: (Joss Whedon) said working on “Avengers” has been easier than he expected. “In fact, the only problem I’ve had with ‘The Avengers’ is: Where is the 14-year-old girl with superpowers?” he joked.
Whedon went on to say that he has no plans at the moment to return to writing comics for Marvel, he has no plans to write a Star Trek comic, and cracked a joke that his next project will be rebooting the Spider-Man franchise in a year. He also mentioned he's shopping out a Serenity sequel, but no one's biting so far.

Wow, these really do sound awful. Outside of cartoons, comic books just don't translate well to the small screen. Especially not when they have to compete against the expectations set by recent movies.
More cartoons, please. And some more animated films like Under the Red Hood, while you're at it. We'll eat those up. Otherwise, keep it to films.
Beware the sad tales of Wonder Woman and The Cape. Woe betide those who think they can do any better.

...Marvel's Head of Television Jeph Loeb... Should have stopped reading there. If he's not writing anymore though, maybe it's for the best.

It sounds like I'd like all of them except Mockingbird, and I would bet money that it won't see the light of day.
