The only time I remember Galactus succeeding that seemed to be part of a major storyline was when he destroyed the skrull homeworld.
I remember in silver surfer issues that surfer, and other heralds signaled him in to attack planets, but they were basically no name planets that none of the readers cared about.
I think galactus' main goal would be trying to cure his hunger, but he's never been successful in that either.

Reed Richards once said that Galactus can't be cured, because he's a force of nature in physical form. If he weren't eating planets, something else would have to.

Galactus ate the skrull throne-world once. So I'll give him one point in the wins column for that.

True, but out of the handful of planets I've read about Galactus eating the skrull throne world probably was the more relevant to the readers plot wise.

I'm glad you specified "(photoshop)" on this thread. Because that looked like a real live picture of Galactus and Doctor Who.
Sorry, I forgot to preface this post with "(wiseass)".

I was just making sure that no rumors started because of me, lol. I always try to name my topics as to where the reader will know what to expect.
However, I did think that the are styles in the pictures I made Dr. Who Vs Galactus from had similar art styles that meshed well together for the picture

Galactus ate Sakaar (the world from Planet Hulk) but Hulk’s kid used his earth-manipulation powers to really mess him up so I’m not positive that even counts as a victory.
Dr. Who is pretty much unstoppable.

He is, but at the same time very interesting to watch. The end of was it last season? Kind of disappointed me though.
******* Spoilers *******
All of Doctor who's enemies (except the master) locked him in the pandorica to keep the tardis from exploding, and in the very next episode he was out? I'm still not exactly sure how he got out. I don't know, not showing how he got out kind of cheapened the character for me a little. I enjoy seeing how he get's out of those situations. When he just get's out of them without any explanation makes things less climactic for me. I might have missed something though. Sure he had that wrist teleporter, but how did he get too it? They locked him down tight.
*********** End Spoilers ***********

I didn’t actually notice that because I was distracted by the thing that annoyed ME about that episode: the Doctor didn’t seem to realize that the trap was made for him until it was too late when it was blatantly obvious. He’s supposed to be the smartest person in the room (ANY room) but he failed to pick up on something that I figured out as soon as they started describing the mystery captive that the prison was built for. That stuff never happened to David Tennant.
He’d still kick Galactus’ butt though.

I was thinking it was for him too, but I was hoping it was "The Master" in the box. It would be way to short to bring him back after one season, but he makes Dr Who's plot's very interesting.

I don't think The Doctor is all that perceptive, at times. It tends to take him a long time to figure out what's going on (far longer than the audience, most of the time, and often longer than other people around him).
The Doctor is smart in the sense that he knows almost everything, and he's clever about thinking his way out of things, but he's also arrogant and flippant, and those personality traits tend to get him into trouble (which is what makes him fun to watch).

David Tennant was in trouble a few times too. Two times I can think of off the top of my head is when he was on that planet with that thing that possessed people and copied everything that was said until it surpassed whomever it was talking too, and then when the Dalek's moved Earth to another solar system.
Keeping the doctor makes the plot interesting. In some cases the doctor admit's he's walking into a trap, or it could be a bad idea, but he doesn't see any other way. However, it shows how the doctor gets himself out of trouble, and that's what part of the show I enjoy. For me not showing how he escaped from the Pandorica sort of took that away. The last thing I want the series to turn into is the doctor doing things with no real explanation. It takes away the factor that makes the show interesting for me.

You know, I don't know why anybody hasn't found or created any technology that would feed Galactus so he wouldn't feed on planets anymore.

You know, I don't know why anybody hasn't found or created any technology that would feed Galactus so he wouldn't feed on planets anymore. When in doubt read one of WildKnight's post. He knows his comics, and he thought answers the question before you've thought of the question, lol. I know he's done that with me a few times. Reed Richards once said that Galactus can't be cured, because he's a force of nature in physical form. If he weren't eating planets, something else would have to.
