My general idea would be to combine Admantium with Unstable Molecules.
What would be the properties of such a substance?

It would turn the adamantium into unstable molecules. It would be cheaper to use another source for the molecules...

Never thought of combining Adamantium with Unstable Molecules, but I have tried making another form of metal by combining Adamantium with Vibranium. Didn't really affect the Adamantium much aside from making it absorb kinetic forces...

Adamantium + Vibranium = no "snikt" = a crime

if you want stronger metals you can just make them up it is comic books XD.
i have 2 made up now impurveum (from COH) and Adamantium-Steel (a stronger form of Adamantium ) just have them made for fun.

Yeah that's where the Vibromantium idea came from. I never enjoy running campaigns in established universes (Star Wars being an exception because I don't give that much of a crap about canon, and Star Trek because it's Star Trek). Vibromantium was to be my Superhero campaign's equivalent of Vibranium and Adamantium (hence the name). It was also an extremely rare metal, difficult to find and damn near impossible to refine for production purposes. As a result few characters had it, and usually they were mad scientists (to establish just how brilliant they were).

ya not like its hard to just make up a element/metal at will from you head. its RL where it gets tricky XD

Just mix whatever you like with a metal/element with the letters 'ium' on the end. My current element is Lunarium. (Think that comes from the old Rocket Ranger game on Amiga?) Mined on the moon, when charged with an electric current gives off radiation that mutates humans. The Nazis are using it to make a super powered army but end up making monsters instead. Also one of the rarest elements - there are several cosmic empires hot footing it to Earth to lay claim to it, and brush aside the earth with their petty 'world war II' squabble. I like to layer the challenges to the players on top of each other. It's not enough that World War II is going on, that this stuff gives the Nazis an unfair advantage, that Alien empires are going to start a fight over the stuff, and that criminals from the future are polluting the timeline with technology that ensures the Nazis will win unless the players can stop them. Oh no, there's also the small matter of a Galactus level threat that's on its way to eat the solar system. I like to keep them busy And all down to a little rock with an 'ium' on the end
