What kind of constructs would you make?
Hal Jordan makes jets since he was in the Air Force
Kyle Rayner makes artistic creations
How would your personality alter what you make?
Personally, I'd probably be making a lot of historical military hardware, like cannons and whatnt, since I'm a fan of military history (and history in general)

I'd basically be a summoner-type. Almost everything I make would be a person, a character, something like that. I'd be the "people's" GL.

I'm kind of a no frills guy. In a fight it would probably be energy beams and force bubbles for me. Although in my down time I'd experiment like crazy just to see what I could make. I'd probably try to make stuff that was very abstract (trying to create emotions or thoughts) or stuff that was mechanically based.

While it might be fun to play with Kyle-style creations, I think I’d generally expend less effort and use simple constructs (circular shields, cube prisons, energy blasts, ect).

Power suit, Iron man style. I'd use it all the time as armour, strength boost etc. Tony Stark or Reed Richards as 'Green Lantern style' Iron Man would be amazing, because of their technical know how and imagination. Call myself 'The Green Knight' or something (as opposed to Knights who say Ni! which is something different...). If Tony Stark can (supposedly) make stuff out of near future tech that makes him in the top tier of Avengers (below Thor and a couple of other bigger hitters) think what he could so with a ring that instantly creates the components he needs in the shape and size he wants, and is powered by his will rather than a slab of unobtanium.
Captain America would also make a great Green Lantern. Indomitable will, never say die attitude, matchless fighting skills, battle honed senses and gut feeling, ability to create his shield from willpower and enhance his peak human abilities to superhuman with the ring acting as a booster in the way of a powered suit. Only thing that would let him down is his lack of imagination - let's face it, he hits people with his fist/feet or his shield, that's generally it. Would he bother doing anything else if he were a green lantern?

Possibly large very vague humanoid constructs and maybe guns...I know that I've never had experience with a firearm but the idea of having a really big gun in my hands would make me feel significantly safer than say having just a ring in my hands.

I'd play around with a whole mess of weapons and various constructs as needed for whatever situation. I have a pretty big imagination when I wanna use it and tons of comics, etc to reference. In my down time I'd probably see if I could make a working guitar or other instruments because I'm a musician. Music is my life. It'd bug me that everything is green though. I hate the color green. Red's my favorite color but the red lanterns are the bad guys. Maybe I could be a blue lantern lol.

I'd probably be mimicking the Phoenix from X-Men or fantasy-type or sci-fi weapons.

Me, giant mega weapons. Axes, hammers, flails, halberds if somebody really ticked me off. Just merciless weapons.

Imitations of super robot attacks, from Mazinger Z's rocket punch to Getter Robo G's Shine Spark to Gurren Lagann's Giga Drill Break.
