Anyone tried it? Worth tracking down? The only options I have (as a Brit) are through ebay @crazy prices (post cost more than game) but watching out in case it ever shows up on Amazon. Just wondered if it was worth the effort...?

I really liked the figures for their own sake (if you just want to have cool little things to look at, it's a lot cheaper than action figures, for the most part), but the HeroClix games never really held up for me. My friends would play them for a while and then never use them again.
I guess an important question (if you actually care about playing the game) is; do you have someone who might play with you regularly?

I have a great link for you let me look it up. Wk this is marvel herosape not heroclix.
The marvel heroscape is #1 in my amazon wish list right now.
Anyway, there is a site that made heroscape cards for all of the marvel/dc heroclix figures so you can use them all. They are all very close in size and the cards are really well done and balanced.
You can get a set of 30 marvel heroclix on eBay for like 15 bucks to compliment the heroscape marvel set.
I will post the site when I have time. If none of this makes sense I am on my handheld.

Yeah, just realized I totally misread that...
But actually a lot of my comments still stand LOL
Neat little figures. The game is meh.

Oh, I do have to say this about HeroScape... the initial "teams" of good guys and bad guys you get in the box are pretty well balanced, but most of the web content I've seen is not.

www.heroscapers.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=8My son and I love heroscape. I am no whiz on balancing things out but it works for us. Especially because I aim to teach them strategy and have fun and not so much have a challenging experience. As my kids get older that will change. The link above has cards for most of the marvel/dc heroclix figures. There is a master list in there but I don't have time to find it right now.

Thanks for the links/comments. I'd play with my son (who is a Marvel heroes nut. Current flavour of the month is someone he describes as 'Like Hulk but hairy' and nearest i could come up with Sasquatch. Must admit he's got me on that one *shrug*) so long as the game was easy and fun.
Is there anywhere with the rulebook scanned as PDF? No idea if it's still in circulation or not, but I've had no luck finding it, and I'll be damned before I pay £70 to get it shipped from the states. I could try my 'friendly' local game store, but to be honest they take the piss with prices. It all boils down to money, and how much I want to play the game I guess. Will check out the link anyway, cheers Rinjo.

Thanks for the links. Son has some heroclix figures but all look like they've been in a battle already, with missing arms and legs, heads etc ...
