I am just looking for some other opinions on how to handle this. I have a character who has a limited version of CAAM and was looking to give him a price break on it.
For one, it will only work "by touch" (mechanically anyway). For another he will have more limited access to said power, though he won't be limited by distance (without getting too specific, the character will have access to the ability only so long as they have contact with the genetic material of the other person which will be used as a limited resource.)
Example: He acquires 10 units of the needed material from a character with Immovable. He waits 3 days before using the material so he still has the ability, but isn't able to use it until he begins to use up the material. Once he uses up the material he will no longer have access to that ability until he finds someone else with the ability at which point the cycle starts over again.
Any ideas on how to price this or do the advantages balance out the disadvantages?

Yeah, but does Steal Superpower work if you just have a bit of blood from that person? I don't think so. Also, this power doesn't seem to "Steal" anything (the originator still retains their powers, correct?), and there's no mention of absorbing psyches.
Also, how much genetic material is one unit?
Additionally, what's "C A/A/M"?

Yeah, it stands for Copy Abilities/Actions/Modifiers. Although for this character Abilities will not be transfered (the jury's still out on whether or not modifiers will be allowed, could end up being decided on a case by case basis).
As for the genetic material, figure about 1 pint to 1 unit.
I would say this one is different than steal superpowers (The originator does keep their powers, and he doesn't absorb the psyche of his victim, and no matter how long contact lasts, he will not be able to keep the ability).
