Question about constructing a mastery...

I'm working on a write-up for Glorian, and wanted to verify my understanding of how to make this work. I'll break down the things I need help with.

1) Range - Masteries come with a default range of 4. Each additional +1 to range, is a +1 to CL. So does that mean that a range of 7 would be +3 to CL? Or have I misunderstood it?

2) Duration - As I understand it, it is possible to apply stones of effort towards Duration (i.e, Master of Fire using 3 stones, and putting two towards Duration would have the effect last for 10 panels). First, would this be treated as a matter of difficulty (i.e, an AN of 2 allows for a Duration of 2, regardless of the number of stones spent)?


I know there were more questions than that, but I'll ask them as I think of them later.

1. Yes. (I believe PA Energy Weapons cost and additional white stone for each increase in range, but that's not the same.) Of course, a Mastery with a range of 7 would be pretty nasty, but also probably very expensive.

2. I'm not sure. I don't think it's ever come up in my campain yet. I seem to recall effects made from water require 1 stone per panel to maintain, and if made from ice they tend to last about 10 panels, but I'm not sure about other elements.

Anyone else want to weigh in on these?

While waiting for others to weigh in, I'll go ahead and show you what I'm thinking.

From the back of Annihilation: Book 2, we know that he is able to alter the reality of an area of 10 miles for a period of 1 day. In Annihilation: Ronin we see that he is able to take the ambient energies of the world around him and use them to enhance his ability.

Here's what I've got:
Mastery of Reality AN 5 (This applies if #2 is accurate)
- +3 Extended range of 7
- +5 Unlimited Create/Manipulate
- +3 Extreme Power/Control
- +1 Force Blast
- +2 Accumulate Energy
- +2 Combine with CC
- +2 Combine with RC (let me know if this is redundant)

(5 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 5 = 23 = 80 w)

I also figure he has Concentration, and I envision his Hyperspacial Bridges working as Teleportation - Interstellar Distances, Travel Though Alternate Dimension (the Bridge Itself).

The only place I've ever seen him in action is in Annihilation: Ronin so I may be missing important details about how he works.
