Personally I've found there to be a few too many restrictions in the P.A. rules so I made my own there mostly the same as the original so I'll just list the changes.
ARTIFICIAL ABILITIES
The same rules apply here as they do in the original, however insted of buying a flat rate str, agl, or spd, you can have it add to your character's by buying it at AN +3 levels. You still divide the total amount of white stones by half.
ACTIONS
I've added the following discounts to these additional actions.
Tractor Beam (Telekinesis): AN +1 (The original was AN +2 which made no sense to me as that would've been the same amount for a non-PA character.
Manipulate Body Density: AN+ 4 (If Phase Shift can have a discount, then I see no reason that Manipulate Density can't either.)
Swimming: AN -1
WEAPONS
Again the same rules apply for weapons expect for some changes I've made.
Energy Weapons: (Now here's where I thought things were too restictive. So I decided to make some changes
*Cost Level = AN -1
*Max Modifier # + No limit
*Stones come from energy reserve, or you can pay +3 to have them come from the general pool.
Options:
(You MAY APPLY any advantages or disadantages to any PA weapons system not listed in this section at the regular price.)
*2x damage: 2 white stones extra
*Area effect: Same as book
*2x damage or area effect +3 to cost level
*Range: Same as book
*Stun damage: Same as book
*Extra function: Same as book except extra functions DON'T lower your overall mod # (I feel you pay enough as it is.)
Rockets, Firearms, and Grenade Launchers, Flamethrowers, and Mega Weapons: These are bought the same as they are in the book. You can take advantages, and disadvantages that arn't listed as options for the normal price.
Also bear in mind that you can also buy them at a higher than maximum modifier, but if you do that, then you have to pay for them as if they were a normal close/ranged combat weapon. (And thus pay for all the built-in advantages yourself.)
Ammo: 1 red stone extra, or deducted per round/panel (of use) per load added or subtracted. 2 white stones extra for unlimited ammo.
