Haunted Past {Jago's life before the Order is so nebulous, it sometimes leads to doubts about who he is.}
Power Dangerous to Self {His chi-based abilities can take a toll on his mental health if not careful.}
Deadly Enemies: Gargos {The Tiger Spirit which Jago and the rest of his monk family devoted their lives to is in reality a temporally-distant, monstrous warlord known as Gargos.}
Deadly Enemies: Fulgore {The psychopathic cyborg is always out for his head. He's had to eliminate him twice now, but who knows if the nut (no pun intended) will come back for revenge.}
Character Needs Gargos to Use Power {Ironically, the traitorous force that he vowed to destroy is the very same one which imbues Jago with power.}

Biography:
A Tibetan monk following the Tiger Spirit, which later turns out to be Gargos in the second Killer Instinct, is on the path of enlightenment to defeat the evil within him. He believes it is his destiny to destroy Ultratech. In the sequel, Jago succeeded in destroying Fulgore in the first tournament after being possessed by the Tiger Spirit. He was soon betrayed by the Tiger Spirit which turned out to be the demon Gargos in disguise. Gargos used Jago to gain entrance to the physical world. Jago seeks revenge against Gargos's manipulation. It is revealed at the end of the game that Orchid is his sister; they were orphaned and separated at birth when they were young.
