Biography
Maxwell, hero of the Scribblenauts series, comes from a fairly extensive family. He has a twin sister Lily, as well as 40 brothers. Maxwell's parents, Edgar and Julie, were explorers before they had children, and they gave each of their children a magical gift they acquired in their travels. Maxwell's gift was his notebook that lets him summon anything by writing it.
However, Maxwell's powers made him spoiled, and one day Maxwell decided to play a trick on a hungry beggar by writing up and feeding him a rotten apple. Upon eating the apple, the beggar reveals himself to have magical powers of his own, and put a curse on Lily as revenge. The only thing that could cure Lily was a large amount of Starites, and the only way to gather Starites is by earning people's gratitude. Therefore, Maxwell set out to put things write- er, right...and saved her from certain doom.
He's also a cadet of the Scribblenauts organization, dedicated to collecting and studying the Starite phenomenon. Though dedicated to helping others, he figures he can gain rep with them too with leftover Starites.
And speaking others, he was last seen in the DC universe aiding Batman and the rest of its heroes to restore the order.
