I was talking to some of my buddy's at work, and I realize something. I don't miss partying!
One of them was telling me that how he, and some other co workers were at a bar, hitting on women, and one of them turned out to be a transvestite. So, "it" convinced one of my friends that "it" could help him pick up women. Everyone except for the one dude just pretty much said "no thanks, we're good." Anyways "it" just kept buying the one dude drinks all night and they disappeared. Whatever happened, dude's not talking about it.
Makes me glad that I'm something more or less stable these days.

People should never be an "it"; you're probably safe to use "she". When in doubt, "they" tends to work well enough.
Man, English really needs some non-gendered pronouns.

"She" is the proper pronoun to use in that instance.

It shouldn't matter who is on the boards, it's just the right way to refer to someone. But don't sweat it. The language just isn't adequately equipped for these things.
