The Daily Bugle can use both a Captain America and a Nightcrawler in the current Secret Wars adventure. Are we talking an experienced Cap, well versed in the goings on of your world? Yes. This is Captain America (Steve Rogers) circa 1985. Captain America is th leader of the heroes on Battleworld.

If I were to run a Ghostbusters game (likely either completely unrelated to the 2016 movie or only tangentially so) 1) would people want to play in such a game? 2) what system would work best to run it in besides the West Ends d6 game from the 80's? I also found an Indie game called InSpectres, but it uses the Amber system which I also kind of dislike. MURPG as-is is a poor fit IMO. I'd be game for this game. As for the system, I think we need something where you can have normal people with different stats. Maybe D20 Modern?

...As for the system, I think we need something where you can have normal people with different stats. Maybe D20 Modern? It may be too obscure, but Alternity would work on a similar premise, but the roll under mechanic might throw people off... d20 Modern with some hacks may be the way to go.

I have an Alternity Quick Start module in my basement. I remember reading it and thinking it was cool. But, I never played it.

Just throwing this out there, but... is there some game I could play as Sherlock Holmes (the Benedict Cumberbatch, modern day Sherlock Holmes version from the BBC series Sherlock)?
Preferably with a moderately high stone count, because... friggin' Sherlock Holmes? XD

XD Why not a game where Detectives from different forms of media come together to solve mysteries no one can explain.

Well, that could be a thing, but it might be a huge headache to the GM. Also, Sherlock doesn't work so well with other investigators who aren't John Watson, lol.
To be honest, I'd just want to RP as Sherlock regardless of the setting. I don't mind if he's out of his element, that will just make the RP funnier. Anywho, just saying. ^_^

"In Western terms, imagine if The Avengers (both teams of that name), the Justice League, Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, the Teen Titans, the Doctor (all incarnations), Sherlock Holmes, the Ghostbusters, the Elements of Harmony, the Scoobies, Mystery Inc., and RoboCop fought alongside G.I. Joe, The Autobots (and all subsequent incarnations), the BPRD, Stargate SG-1, Battlestar Galactica (and the original series), the Pan-Pacific Defense Corps, the crew of the Serenity, and Starfleet while injected with industrial levels of weapons-grade hot-blood. Now imagine a threat it would take to bring them all together, and imagine them pounding it flat." tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsI kinda want to play that game.
