I think I'd like to try running something with the FATE system. Not sure what I'd like to run with it exactly... probably something in the science fiction or comic book genre. I found cool premade characters for the Justice League and the Avengers, so maybe use those(?) Putting this here because this is more of a half-formed idea/system interest check then a game pitch.

Fate tends to bog down HEAVILY in PBP from my observations elsewhere (Dresden).

Fate tends to bog down HEAVILY in PBP from my observations elsewhere (Dresden). Hrm. Yeah I can see that, since virtually everything requires counter-rolling (though you can do away with that by turning 'Defense" into static statistics). Thanks for the heads up.

That...
Usually Fate games involve a LOT of back and forth on Invokes/Compels and Aspect creations/declarations... Lots of give and take has to happen discussion wise.
Sorry, not trying to be a debbie-downer. Lots of heartbreak with FATE over on rpol :-p

I would love to play in a Stars Without Numbers game! There is a free edition of the core rules. It is an old school gaming sci/fi space opera.
I have read through good chunks of it might be my go to sci fi rpg system.

So, for whatever reason I have been watching the old school power rangers. This would make a fun campaign. I really like the concept.

Hypester and I were briefly working together on something inspired by season 1 Power Rangers a few years ago. I don't have any of my notes from it, unfortunately. But it could be a great idea, although now I think maybe not using MURPG, although I don't know what system I'd want to run it in, barring some crazy homebrew. I might be thinking about running a new game, and now that I think about it, Exiles could be something fun to run...

Hyp'e run Power Rangers a few times with MURPG, it seemed to work well IMO.

Ya, I do not think MURPG would do it justice. There is a very rules light diceless system I am kind of house ruling at the moment (to make it work they way I want it to) that was designed by the guy who wrote Don't Lose Your Head and Fate. Exiles would be great as well. +1
