Ooc. Sorry, got sidetracked. Hatching season on the farm.
Ben decided to fly low and try to separate the group of villains. Blasting whatever happened to be in front of him. He only hoped that Johnny and the rest had things under control where they were. Meanwhile Ben decided it might be a good idea to radio the base and hope someone was listening to the warning....

Iron Man kept moving, using his armor's jets to try and stay one step ahead of Doom. He knew the Latverian dictator was supposed to be one of the biggest brains around, possibly even smarter than his old buddy Tony, but Rhodey was hoping that those 'book smarts' might not necessarily extend to a keen tactical awareness. If Doom was coming after him solo and leaving the rest of his goon squad behind, Rhodey figured he could try and lead the villainous leader into a trap, luring him to the nearest available cluster of heroes that his radar could find for an ambush.

Spider-Man is able to carry Ultron over to the halftrack the group used to travel to this point through yesterday's tempest. Halftrack Body: Amazing (50) Control: Good (10) Speed: Excellent (20)
The Thing checks his controls on the Flying Bathtub. Flying Bathtub Body: Good (10) Control: Remarkable (30) Speed: Excellent (20) Unfortunately, it has no blasters. He'll have to land to engage the villains. He was able to radio back to Herobase to relay a warning, just in case he's unable to stop them.
Iron Man is faster than Doom, but the monarch of Latveria still gets a chance to fire his force beams at the Golden Avenger. Doom Attack Roll: _p4S5kvx1-100Doom's blast goes wide, giving James Rhodes the time he needs to think. The Thing and some other heroes are closest, in a flying bathtub. Spider-Man, the Human Torch, Hawkeye and Professor X are back where he spent the night, and there are more heroes at Herobase, but also the refugee aliens that need protection. Iron Man still intended to lure Doom toward the closest available heroes, hoping to surprise the Latverian dictator with superior numbers before the villain began to suspect anything. So he rocketed in the direction of the Thing's flying bathtub, while taking some evasive actions to try and avoid any more of Doom's firepower.

"Well, we got it here without it waking and tearing us to bits. I suggest we push on. If it wakes while we're resting, we're doomed. Speaking of which I'm sure that somewhere the others are having more fun than we are. And by fun I mean beating up bad guys, even lame ass dudes in pyjamas with bad hair and breath like Spidey seems to attract. Seriously, you gotta attract a better class of bad guy cause... damn. Some of those guys are losers." quipped Johnny.
Then he thought about the Mole Man, and a few other FF villains they'd faced over the years. "Admittedly you don't have the monopoly on bad guys with an image... or halitosis, problem."
ACTION
Suggest we keep going to get back to the base, and - possibly - try to make some kind of coded contact with the base, see what else is going on.

Professor X is less than 250 miles from Iron Man and the Thing, so he's able to relay a message and sense that the following is happening south-west of his current position... Instead of firing at Iron Man, Doctor Doom blasts the flying sub, trying to take it down so his villainous allies can finish off any heroes that might survive a crash to the ground. Doctor Doom Agility roll: hOzZ2qHH1d100Doom hits the flying sub, but fails at his bulls-eye attempt at the engines. This gives the Thing a chance to try landing the ship safely or for Iron Man to guide it down from the outside. Name

Ben felt the blast hit the tub. He really needed to talk to Reed about some weapons or something on this heap.
No time for that atm, the tub was damaged and going down at a rather quick rate. Well, hopefully it will hold together for what Ben had in mind. No weapons...Well no one said the tub itself couldn't be a weapon.
So Ben aimed the flying bathtub at doom, if he was going to crash he was going to make it hurt some of those below him. Ben throttled the tub to max thrust and braced for the coming impact.
Sometimes it was good being an indestructible rock man.

Iron Man fires back at Doom, hopeful that his repulsor rays might be able to do some damage to the villain's armor.

"We need to get back in the fight" suggested the Torch. "Tell you what. I'll scout around. If we can see the others from here I'll guide you with one of my fancy skywritten signs. Much better than a bit of squirty web or gimmick arrows." he laughs, before shouting "FLAME ON!" and taking to the air.
ACTIONS
Human Torch will fly high and look about, see if there are any other conflicts nearby that need their attention. Otherwise he will suggest they make best speed back to the hero base.
