Sure thing. We just need to focus the microwave patterns like so, The Hulk turns a dial, And let me key this formula in to separate the frequency like this. The Hulk, gingerly punches in some code, That should do it! He presses a red button.

"Can't help you there, Doc," Iron Man replied to Mr Fantastic's request for some kind of electronic help, "Tony Stark built and designed this suit, I just fly it. But speaking of flying... if you're worried about sending too many of our heavy-hitters away from the base and need the Thing to hang back here, I can probably keep any of these alien craft in the air."
Rhodey would certainly have felt more comfortable trying to fly any of these strange alien vehicles rather than trying to bluff his way through a meeting of the minds with Reed Richards and Bruce Banner. On top of that, he was feeling a slight stab of wounded pride after having Ben Grimm declared the best pilot in the hero camp. Not that anyone actually knew of James Rhodes' own credentials in that area, of course, but he was still feeling an urge to validate himself in the eyes of Captain America and the others.

The Human Torch
Johnny puts on a mock hurt expression and a shrug. "If I'd known it was there, Spidey ol' pal, I'd have let you know." Behind his back is a hand with crossed fingers.
"Besides, YOU'RE the one wearing the mask. Who knows what lurks behind that musty, ill fitting, tacky 70s style mexican wrestler like exterior? I'm thinking you don't exactly fight off crowds of ladies, right? No matter. Stick around with me long enough and you can have my cast offs. I mean, sure, there's enough Johnny to go round, but I look after my friends too. Plain chicks need love too, even if it is from average or lower looking guys who run around in brightly coloured tights with a mask to hide their unsightly boils and crooked teeth."
He thought about that for a moment, glanced down at his own costume, pulled a face. "Yeah, ok, Reed doesn't have the best fashion sense. You gotta admit though. I make this look good."
With a $10,000 dollar grin he flames on and starts flying off (at slow speed) to go sort out supplies. When the others are ready to make a move on the bad guys, he will step up to do what's needed. Till then, Spidey was an easy target for his jibes.
"Need to get you some new threads though Webs. You're looking like the somewhat less than amazing Spider Hobo these days. Hey, wait... Threads! Webs! You see what I did there? Sometimes I amaze even myself..."

While the Hulk uses his talent in the field of radiation applications to assist Mister Fantastic, Captain America shares a knowing look with Iron Man. Cap doesn't know James Rhodes, but based on a prior encounter he does know that this Iron Man isn't Tony Stark. Meanwhile, on the way back to the Monitor Room, the Human Torch and Spider-Man find rSUKPUQK1-100 another Vehicle Dock (instead of a sewing machine). This facility has 1-5 vehicles (a flyer, a flying sub, a walker, a halftrack and a hovercraft). Watcha' think matchstick? Can you fly this thing? Spider-Man and vehicles don't mix so well... Spidey was thinking back to the various disasters he'd experienced with his Spider-themed transport.

Human Torch
"Well, webs, normally wheels are my Thing. Come to think of it, where is Ben? I'll bet he can make sense of these. The halftrack is probably the nearest to a car. Ain't gonna pull the chicks in it either from the looks. Hey, the heck with it. Let's take a look at the walker. If those dunderheads can figure one out we should have no problem!" he declared, then glanced at Spiderman. "Say... do you have a drivers license? Only time I can remember you driving is that... *heh* that was the dumbest... *bwahahahaha!*"
Still laughing the Torch declares "Flame... bwahahahaha... On! Spider *cackle* mobile... gotta love it." and flies up to the walker, to try and figure out the controls.
ACTIONS
If he can figure this thing out, will be sure to take it for a spin when the storm abates.

Iron Man stood back and watched the intellectuals work on the alien technology at their disposal. If they could get it up and running, then send their signal to Magneto to perhaps convince him to join their surprise attack against the villains, it would be a step closer to winning the Beyonder's crazy war. Rhodey was still not entirely convinced that it was the right move to form an alliance with a known murderer like Magneto, but under the circumstances it was probably wiser to have him as a temporary ally than another enemy.
"Any idea how long this will take to set-up?"

Spider-Man watches on as the Human Torch test drive the walker platform, wondering why Johnny was laughing so hard about the Spider-Mobile. After all, it was the Human Torch who built it! As for the tripedal platform, it has these statistics: control Excellent; speed Good; body Remarkable (but no roof to protect from the elements). Meanwhile, Iron Man stands by as the Hulk presses a red button to call Magneto.
Elsewhere, Magneto receives a communications alert at his base. Is someone trying to call him? Spider-Man shrugged at Johnny's jocularity. When you can swing above midtown traffic, you don't put a high priority on learning to sit in it instead. You going to be able to drive that thing, or do we need to find someone smarter, like that space-wrench over there?

The Human Torch
Johnny chuckled "I'd put that wrench in the queue of piloting this thing before you got a turn webs. Don't worry, I'd still put you in front of that angry hairy mutant guy with the claws though. I can just see it now. Now how's this thing work. These controls here... lessee... Snikt! Boom!" He put on his best dullard/dimwit expression. Then checked to make sure Wolverine wasn't anywhere in sight or hearing range...
Johnny chuckles, then checks out the other machines. If he can figure out how to drive as many as possible, it will stand them in good stead at some point. Especially one with a roof if that storm persisted.

Iron Man waited to see if their message would get any response from Magneto. He still was not happy about seeking out a villain for any ally, but their circumstances had left them few other options.

The signal is being broadcasted. Now, we wait for Magneto to pick up. The Hulk looks around the room, impatiently. There's so much more he could be doing! His head hurts a little. It's a little hard to think all of a sudden. WHAT'S TAKING SO BLASTED LONG?

The Savage SHE-HULK is not as savage as in her early days. Jennifer intends on making the grade as a super hero and tries to stay in her She-Hulk form when on the Battleplanet. She is close friends with Janet Van Dyne (the Wasp), and if something happens to the Wasp, Jennifer will seek out the guilty party and avenge her (+10 Karma if she does so). Jennifer is also concerned about the actions of her cousin, Bruce Banner (the Hulk). Having learned that the Hulk is in the monitor room, She-Hulk heads that way to see him.
After having a few laughs with Spider-Man, the Human Torch takes a look at the halftrack, which appears to be a good solid ground vehicle, plus it has a roof! Halftrack Body: NMkhnRCX1-100 Amazing (50) Control: 1-100 Good (10) Speed: 1-100 Excellent (20)
At that moment, in the monitor room where Iron Man and the Hulk are watching a transmission with Captain America and Mister Fantastic... Magneto chooses to make his own way. "Cap," Mister Fantastic says looking really depressed, "if you don't mind...""Not at all! Go and relax, Reed! The Hulk and I will take turns standing watch!" Captain Amrica tells the leader of the Fantastic Four. She-Hulks sees Mister Fantastic leaving, as she enters to find Iron Man, Hulk and Captain America. "Hello She-Hulk," Captain America says before turning to Iron Man. "Iron Man, could you go see what is keeping Wolverine? I expected him to have reported back here with Storm by now."Name | F | A | S | E | R | I | P | Health | Karma | Powers | Hulk | Rema | Good | Unea | Mons | Rema | Good | Typi | 215 | 39 | Body Armor, Leaping, Adrenaline Surge | Human Torch | Good | Exce | Good | Exce | Good | Good | Typi | 60 | 18 | Fire Control, Flight, Body Armor | Iron Man | Exce | Exce | Incr | Mons | Good | Exce | Typi | 155 | 41 | Body Armor, Repulsors, Flight | She-Hulk | Rema | Exce | Amaz | Amaz | Typi | Good | Exce | 150 | 36 | Body Armor, Leaping | Spider-Man | Rema | Amaz | Incr | Incr | Exce | Amaz | Incr | 140/160 | 125 | Spider Sense, Web Shooters, Wall Crawling |

"Sure thing, Cap."
Iron Man flew off to whichever part of the Herobase he had heard the X-Men were using during their brief stay in this alien structure. Along the way, Rhodey could not help but feel somewhat relieved that Magneto had rejected their proposal of an alliance. While he understood the benefits of having someone as powerful as Magneto as an ally, he still did not think it was right to team-up with an unrepentant killer, even under their current exceptional circumstances. Iron Man felt it would be better for the heroes to handle this themselves, without having to keep an eye on a loose cannon like Magneto when they inevitably confronted the other villains.
