Captain America simply finds a place to sit and tries to find out what is the best course of action at this moment. Who knows when the bad guys will find them and strike. Best to be prepared for everything.
OOC: Small post that is basically me trying to smooth myself back into the role of Cap. Do I need to roll for that? I don't have the rule book at this moment.

The Hulk looks over at She-Hulk, rubbing his brow, I'm holding up, Jen, considering... The Hulk flashes a half-hearted smile. He doesn't want worry his cousin, but between his headaches and this current news about Magneto's decision to decline Captain America's invitation, the Hulk is feeling a little "anxious". Now what, Cap? I feel like we need to move NOW! The Hulk's voice raises a bit. Sorry. I just feel Magneto has made the wrong choice.

"Hey Cap, me an' webhead figured out how to use some of these funky vehicles in this place. We can go out on scouting missions when the weather calms down if you want. Know the terrain, your enemy, and all that. For all we know the bad guys are doing the same thing. I'd rather be forewarned that they are heading over here than sit in and wait for them to knock at the door. Besides that, the bad guys aren't the usual types to work together - too many egos rubbing up against each other. If we can catch some of them away from the others, we can thin out their numbers by giving them their own cosy cells over here. If we can wrap this thing up fast, we can all go home, right?" he offers, glancing in Reed Richards direction. He frowned. Reed would normally have figured out some gizmo to get 'em home by now but he seemed distracted and unfocused.
No surprise really, but they had to keep it together if they wanted to win the 'prize' - for most of those here, that would be just seeing home again.

Spider-Man couldn't help but think how much he just wanted to go home, now that Johnny mentioned it, and he allowed himself a moment of melancholy. It didn't make any sense to forget what he was fighting for anyway.
I hope the storm lets up soon. If busting these bad guys is what it takes to get home, then I say we get it done.

"Thanks for letting me know, Torch. Thanks to you as well, Spider-Man. I know we have to do something quick Hulk. Just give me time to determine the best course of action. Certainly would help if the storm would end soon. But if it keeps on roaring, we may have to hold off the scouting idea until we determine it is safe to go outside." Cap then went back to formulating many battle plans and deciding what his next move should be.

She hulk walked over towards Captain America. "When we do go out on patrol I should go along. I know we all want to end this as quickly as possible but I remain more concerned about everyone staying safe, and the two of you going out there alone would be decidedly unsafe." She motioned towards the Human Torch and Spider-man. "Ummm.. no offense intended."

Iron Man looks for the X-men in 3XAG0HfS1-100 a meeting room. "...we must take matters into our own hands! We do not belong here!""Ah'll say! Ah once tussled with the Avengers! Captain America thinks it would be good for She-Hulk to join the away team with her cousin Bruce. Captain America is also considering leading the mission himself. The Wasp is now chairperson of the Avengers and she is more than capable of managing to their alien guests' safety and welfare. Spider-Man and the Human Torch then return from a nearby Vehicle Storage area. Unfortunately, Iron Man has not yet returned from his search for the X-Men. Suddenly, a massive bolt of lightning creates an electrical surge! The base's vital generators fail and the lights go out! Name

Iron Man was concerned to hear the X-Men apparently plotting to go and join the mutant villain Magneto, although before he could alert any of the other heroes to this revelation, he found that his presence had been detected by Professor X. Since they already knew he was there, he made no attempts to conceal himself as he approached the group.
"Eavesdropper is a little harsh, Professor, considering I only just walked-in on my way to try and find all of you. Captain America and some of the others are putting together a team to maybe take the fight to the bad guys, if we can get around this tempest. That's where we figured Storm might come in handy. But it sounds to me as though you all have other plans already..."
He had no intention of trying to stop them if they wanted to leave. But Rhodey could not have disapproved more of their decision, if they were really planning to abandon the other heroes to join Magneto instead.

The Human Torch
"Flame on!" shouted the Troch. "Relax, guys an' gals! The HUMAN TORCH is here to make your lives - and this room - a little brighter!" He flies up to the ceiling, then frowns. "Say, if the power is down for the lights, won't things like defence, sensors and any security stuff be down too? We need to fan out, watch for goons coming at us in the dark!"
ACTIONS
The Torch will provide light whilst hovering, but volunteers to patrol this base to keep an eye out for intruders.

If we can find the source of the problem, maybe I can help getting the lights back on... unless this is the start of an attack, then I'll probably have my hands full!
Spider-Man tried to keep his voice from getting tense, but he was concerned. Still... if this was an attack, his Spider-Sense should have warned him, right?

"Everyone stay calm. Spider-Man and Hulk, I want you to patrol the area and keep an eye out along with She-Hulk just in case this is a precursor to an attack. Torch, you're with me. We are gonna go investigate the source of the problem. Could use your light to help me find the power box." Cap knew that the Hulks can take any damage from any surprise attacks long enough to warn the others. And Spider-Man's natural reflexes and Spider-Senses will allow him extra time to warn everyone. Leaving Torch to go with Cap to aid him in the search for the generator and to see how much it is damaged. "If we don't happen to bump into Mr. Fantastic, ask him to go to the generator to help us fix it. Maybe find Xaiver and ask him to do a sweep of the area in case there are any unwanted guests."
